    • Nicely designed & made convenient portable mixer.
Runs quieter than some of the others I have tried. Feels comfortable and steady in your hand. The speeds are about right IMO, slow still seems a little quick but adequate for fluffing or bleeding powdered ingredients. Fast(er) speeds are good as anticipated. Comes apart easily for cleaning, and yes, the storage container is of the correct size to store the beaters & cord without going thru multiple configurations getting the cord & beaters to store nicely. Beaters & whisk are of average or better quality, they're sturdy and get the job done with minimal splatter (or chatter, I've found some products in the past where the beaters are off balance or the shafts are bent just enough to cause noise and unnecessary vibration). The only quip I would have is the cord is 4½ feet long, where many others are 5 feet+ (but no star deduction). For the price point, this is an excellent appliance. This would make perfect qift for any occasion. I use it for quick jobs, when I don't want to break out the large table toop mixer, and in fact this is my favorite beater/whisk for doing egg whites..Fantastic results. I don’t understand why the mixer doesn’t snap into the storage base! My last mixer did so I could take it out of the cupboard by the mixer handle. This one does not snap on, it sits on there so you have to hold the base and the mixer to take it out of the cupboard. Other than that, the stainless steel attachments are brilliant because they will never rest and the handmixer has extra power so very pleased with the mist itself. ... show more

On a good note, it does come with the dough hooks and whisk, which most in this price range did not. It does the job, but its boxy shape doesn’t fit comfortably in my small hands. The power cord is pretty short and the clear storage part does not snap onto the bottom. It just kind of sits on there.

First off, even at the lowest power setting it's too powerful & feels like it's at max speed. Then as some others have pointed out, it's split at the handle. Trying to use the tray & attach the mixer to it is near impossible. Then there is the power cord, that is so thin that I have not much faith in how long it will last. The whole unit just feels cheap.
