These leaders are just what i was looking for, i wanted 9', which they were out of, so i opted for the 7.5'. They work just fine, except for the loop. I prefer tying mine so i just snip the eye off and move on. The price and delivery time was spot on.

So my rod broke today (not SF's brand FYI). Like any leader you'll want to straighten a bit. Caught two fish this morning and action and presentation were great. My size 14 caddis got hung up on a tiny flower in the ground in a backcast. Went forward and heard a "crack" - figured I'd snapped my line clear off or snapped it on the forward cast with too much whip. Turn around and searched to find my caddis on the ground fully secured to the flower - even pulled it out of the ground - but rod tip broke... Needless to say, 5x test at ~3.5 lbs holds up! Tip of my rod however...not so much ... show more
