I got free one day shipping somehow even tho I didn’t ask for it or pay extra. The light is incredible. I’ve only played around with it in Sound mode but the preset effects are pretty awesome and the motor response is unbelievable. Now that I’ve seen this thing for myself I plan to order at least three more. My DMX controller should arrive in a few days and I’ll write a review on that as soon as I can. I highly recommend this mini spider. It’s a very professional light that can be as complicated as you want or it can be as simple as you want.     • Disappointing in dmx mode. No motor/speed control

This is a cool inexpensive party light if you just run in auto mode, but you can't control the speed of the motors when programming in dmx mode. I programmed a few scenes, but when i switch from one to the next, the motors just move the tines very quickly. There are a bunch of pre programmed effects, but only the lights change. You can control the speed that the lights move at, but not the motors. (the effects are not "self propelled"). I confirmed this with the manufacturer. I didn't know much about dmx when I bought these. Now I feel like I wasted my money... ... show more

I bought this for a houseboat party on the lake that I will be going to in September. I tested it out in a dark room and it does really well and is bright. The function buttons and directions are confusing. I only plan on using this by sound so I am not going to be doing anything exciting with it. The media could not be loaded. This little light is pretty awesome. I set it to sound activated and gave to say that it responds really well to the beat. Note that the effect is augmented because of my fog machine. But even without it, it gets the party going.
