I read several reviews and there was some opinion that the gap between handle and hard to roof was too tight. Others said there was plenty of room. Let me say that with average thickness fingers it is enough but snug. Anyone with thick fingers could likely still use it, but it is needlessly close to roof. It isn’t clear why the designer couldn’t provide another few millimeters. I’d conclude it was designed with a soft top on hand without realizing a hard top has less room. Anyway, it works, but is tighter than it should be. I would guess gloves would be an issue. ... show more

Really nice fit and finish on these. Better looking than any of the paracord options and they work fine with the hard top on. I really like this company. Packaged really well. I bought their A-pilar light mounts as well and they both exceeded expectations.

One thing I needed to do was to put a half-washer behind each bolt to tilt the handle down just slightly. Without those spaces, I feel like the handle is a little close to the roof and is a bit of a squeeze on my hand.
