This bi-fold wallet is well-made, nice-looking, and functional. A big plus is the 'smart-pull' strap. This strap pulls the card up and 'pops' the card out of the slot so you don't have to fight to get your most used card(s) out. The leather is of nice quality. It has RFID blocking as well.

Unboxing the wallet was like getting a Christmas present several times in one box. The wallet comes in a very sturdy thick cardboard box. Upon removing the lid, the first thing you see is very fine tissue paper printed with the Serman Brands logo wrapped around the wallet. After removing the tissue paper, you will find a cloth pouch that contains the wallet itself. The pouch is drawstring and also has the Serman Brands logo printed on it. The pouch can be repurposed for something else like holding jewelry, or putting spare credit cards in it, holding coins, or just about anything you can small you can think of. Remove the wallet from the pouch and initial inspection of the wallet indicates it was designed in USA and made in China. The construction is very solid, stitching even and leather feels very thick and put together well. When you open the wallet, it also contains a piece of the same tissue paper it was wrapped in to protect the plastic ID window. At this point I was very pleased with the quality and presentation of the wallet. I ordered the Army green wallet simply because I like the color. From the picture, I anticipated an olive green type color. The color was very dark and it actually looks black. For me, I did not mind as I would have bought the black anyways if there had not been a green choice. If you absolutely need the wallet to be green, then I fear you might be disappointed in just how dark it actually is. The wallet has a thank you card inside it as well as inside the box. Very heavy card stock. Nothing fancy but sure makes you feel like the company cares about quality control. On to the functionality of the wallet. The description states that it is a minimalist wallet. It is not as thick as a billford or trifold wallet so in that sense, it is a minimalist wallet but once you put a license, 3 credit / debit cards, and a few bills in the wallet, it becomes quite thick. The way the card pockets are designed not being in line with each other but at staggered depths, it makes the wallet bulky. Where all the cards overlap each other, there is a bump which causes the edges of the wallet to bend in. There is a slot that you can put cards in that has a pull strap to get the card out. This function seems to work good but does not seem like it would last if used constantly. To recap, the presentation of the wallet is wonderful. Quality seems very good. Very well made! Price is very reasonable for the quality. The color is off a bit but not a problem if that type of thing does not bother you. Can be bulky depending on how much is put in the wallet. Lots of openings for cards and cash. Would most definitely buy again for myself or as a gift. ... show more

I was looking for a slim, functional wallet that held more than 3 cards and came across some of the Serman Brands models with thousands of great reviews. Their quality, style, and functionality seemed perfect, but the only thing that kept me from buying was the metal clip inside for cash. Though I'm sure the feature works fine, I didn't like the idea of having my cash exposed and held in place in the center by a clip when I open my wallet. Besides essentially opening a book with pages made of cash every time open my wallet (eye candy for thieves on the streets of NYC), I can just picture that If I dropped it and it landed the wrong way the bills could fly out all over the place. Likely not an everyday danger, but I personally prefer cash being tucked away in a more secure sleeve in my wallet. This new version was my perfect solution as it's everything I wanted in the other wallets but it has two secure pockets inside for cash and a few items slightly larger than a credit card. This wallet still has the little pull tab as well, which works great, in my experience. I've seen reviews where people say this pull tab design (on various wallets) malfunctions, rips, snags, but it appears to be a solid feature on this wallet thus far. I'm using it for insurance cards and other items I don't use regularly, so I don't expect much wear and tear on the tab. Doesn't snag on my pants when pulling out of my pocket or anything like that. Not many reviews on this wallet yet but if you check out their site it looks like it was just released. If you're on the fence and like the pictures and features, just buy it, it's $30 and well worth it. 1-year warranty as well, if I'm wrong. ... show more

This is the second one that I purchased, this one was black. The first one was the Texas brown and the surface would scratch and it didn't look new for long. This black wallet has been in use for four months now and it still looks new. I love the "easy card" section, I keep my frequently used card there and the rarely used cards inside. There are a couple sections for folded cash (fold in half) or other cards or receipts. Easy to remove your drivers license when needed but the clear window is handy too. This is a front pocket wallet and lays flat, just a little thicker than a typical cell phone. I would highly recommend this wallet, after all, I am a repeat purchaser. ... show more
