The recommended case (shown in pics) is a brassy gold yet it still meshes together well! There’s no need to get a link removal kit as these links can easily be removed with no tools necessary. I like it! It’s big as heck though! And I don’t necessarily have a small wrist. I had to take out every link except one. It’s a bit tight but two links was too big and it moved too much. Taking out the links are really easy and a no brained. It’s a nice gold color. The bracelet in my pics is a 10 kt gold so it gives you an idea of the tone. I’ve worn it for hours and it’s not uncomfortable and so far it hasn’t faded or left my skin irritated. And honestly I like it so much even if it does fade I would get it again. I have two metal colors of this watch band & I love them! I have been wearing it for months now and it has not tarnished or anything! I also get SO MANY compliments! They only pain in the butt is if you have to remove links to make it smaller.

Feels more like plastic than stainless steel but that’s ok with me. Doesn’t seem flimsy or cheap. The links to remove it are a clasp type not the type where you have to remove pins. It looks absolutely beautiful but…it’s hard to put on and take off. I guess that’s a good thing? At least it won’t come off but still. If you take a link out it’s too tight, leave the link in it’s loose…eh, minor detail…I would buy it again in other colors.

This was a great value! It looks expensive- I received many compliments on it. If your watch face isn’t already gold, definitely order a gold case to go with it for a finished look. My only issue is that it’s not right enough to use my Apple Watch for a workout. I don’t want to be constantly changing bands so I bought a wrist sweatband to put over the watch for workouts.
