  • Wow!!!
This works perfectly. Easy to use and set up and gets the job done every time. No more struggling to get the fan blade off. Just clean the rust off the exposed part and put some of your favorite rust buster on it and put the tool to work. So easy and quick and no damage to the fan blade. Definitely will be putting this to use this summer will update if needed but so far I have to say I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to be part of your tool set for HVAC repairs. ... show more

  • This did the trick!
Figured I could save some money replacing my own HVAC blower motor. The blower wheel was stuck on the badly rusted motor shaft. Spent 2 days trying to remove it. No amount of PB blaster would loosen it up. Ordered the hub puller with overnight delivery and had the blower off in less than 10 minutes. Seems like decent quality, had no issues with it. ... show more

  • Just buy it
I don't work on HVAC for a living, but I do own a home and had to replace the motor for my furnace. Did I want to spend more money on this repair? No, but paying $50 for this tool I'll use maybe one time is still way cheaper than hiring someone to do the same job. And yes, it worked like a charm. I was beating on that motor shaft with a mallet, drenching it in oil, and it would not budge. Got this tool, spent a few minutes getting it locked in place, and it popped right out. Stop reading reviews and just buy it and save yourself the headache. ... show more

  • Heavy Duty Fan Blade Puller
This is an expensive item for the home owner , but it's still very much cheaper than hiring an "HVAC" company to come out and do the work for you! I have had a history of "HVAC" repair along with other construction matters, but I am totally disabled now and to be truthful this was just about more than I personally could handle on my own! I have in earlier years used many different types of fan blade pullers including this type and I have never once seen any of the others made any better than this one! I will tell you from experience that some fan blades simply will not fall off even with the best pullers which as I said earlier , I believe this style to be the best for that type of job! You must still understand that you may have to use this in combination with heat and something that will dissolve rust! However without this tool you would have a much harder time as you need something that can keep a constant pulling pressure on the blade as you work to remove it! It is made of very strong metal and is the best quality that I think a person can buy for a reasonable price! The company was very fast in shipping it to me and I am tickled with it! I needed one of these of my own back when I used to repair them , although I borrowed this type of puller from other people back then! It's well worth your consideration as you need all the help you can get on some fan blades! This is just what the doc ordered! Nothing less than all 5 stars for this company and their puller!!! Hope this helps you make your decision! ... show more

  • A good tool that stands up well to repeated use.
Works just fine to pull or push frozen fans off the motor shafts. Yes it's aluminum but that doesn't affect it's operation. The only real downside to this tool is you really need to chase the threads on the tool where the three hold-down bolts go through when pushing out a shaft as they aren't very well threaded. This can cause the bolts to easily cross-thread and/or make them tough to thread through even when they're going in correctly. ... show more

  • Works Great
Works great. My husband is a DIY guy. I do the internet research, I show him and he does the work. We've had some AC problems lately, and have learned a lot in the last few months. To remove a fan blade or a blower motor is almost impossible without a puller, and if you do get it off it's all beat up and takes hours or even days. After reading lots of reviews and watching YouTube videos, I was set on this one. It was a little bit more than what I wanted to pay but I thought, if I buy the cheaper one and it breaks or doesn't work, then I would have to buy an other one and wait for it to get here. I'm very happy with this tool. My husband had the blower motor off and the new one back on, in just a few minutes. Quicker then I could get the spot vacuumed to put it back in. I'm glad I spent the extra and got the better tool. He'll be able to use this tool for years to come. ... show more

  • YOU NEED THIS TOOL! TRUST ME!!!
I’m not an air conditioning mechanic, but life has taught me the basics in electrical, plumbing and other essential fields needed to get by in everyday life. Years ago, I had a blower motor go out in an air handler in a rental property that our family owns. Without this tool, it literally took me HOURS to separate the motor from the squirrel cage using a drift pin and a hammer. Fast forward to a few days ago when I had the same problem happen with one of the two units in our primary home. Not wanting to have a repeat performance of my past experience with this same scenario, I decided to purchase this tool. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! Now, I’m just wondering why I didn’t purchase this tool the first time around? I cleaned the exposed, surface rusted shaft with plumber’s sandpaper, sprayed the shaft with lubricant and mounted the tool as centered as possible. Just turn the bolt in a clockwise direction and the motor drops on the other end. SUPER EASY! Don’t be me years ago and go about this motor removal “caveman style”. This tool is worth every penny I paid for it!!! No sweating, no hammer-hit fingers and no wasting of time - just perfect results! ... show more

  • Works, but be careful of set screws...
This worked well to pull a rusted squirrel cage off a failed blower motor. When using the puller, the set screws left dents on the shaft which left everything slightly wonky in terms of balance. You wouldn't think so but there is a very slight vibration that was not there before. Well anyway, the unit worked for what I needed it to. ... show more
