People who say this is too narrow really should have read the description saying 520mm wide (around 20.5"). Most adult bars are 2-4" wider. As an adult riding with these bar for testing they where plenty sturdy and not too narrow to be useful. I put my full weight on them and they didn't flex let alone bend.
