If you suffer from numbness especially while in the seated position during moderate climbs this is a good solution. While no saddle has ever been as comfy as an armchair they all cause numbness for me in certain riding positions. The cut out and nose are wider but the overall width is not so you can shift around as needed vs other saddles that flare abruptly after the nose. Tried this saddle on my indoor Wahoo Kickr bike and loved it so much that I got a second for my Canyon Endurace road bike. Granted the Selle that came with the Canyon was not too bad but this Boost was still an improvement. The Kickr bike comes with a torture device for a saddle lol

Great seat, the cut out is perfect but the way the seat curves down means that the edge of the cutout is angles up which in turn happens to rub me wrong and I developed a saddle sore in that spot. Just the way the saddle interacts with my body and the chamois on my bib. Otherwise this is a saddle that I sat on and instantly thought wow this is comfortable and I felt no discomfort on 1 hr rides. But most of my rides are long so it did not work out ... show more

I saw this saddle on a YouTube video. I'd always been skeptical about these road bike seats and couldn't see why people would use them. Then I got into road biking. The narrowness of the saddle means that your legs have greater freedom of movement. There is no friction between the inner thighs and the seat. Your "sit bones' are the contact point for the saddle. Having said that, it is important to have decently padded cycle shorts to complete the formula! Amazingly, this saddle was an immediate improvement on my 30+ mile regular rides. I love this saddle. I've spent a lot of time on the Power by Specialized and the Selle SMP Forma. The power was okay..very rideable...I think it could have used a slightly wider cutout toward the nose. The Forma is very narrow and unpadded. It was painful. The SLR Boost Superflow is the best of these based on my experience. The saddle has a nice flat area under the sit bones and one of the larger cutouts on the market. The flat rear portion allows me to feel stable and supported in more upright positions. Other saddle have more curves/slopes that leave me needing to lean on my hands more for stabilization. I can't ride on saddles without an ergonomic cutout. The SLR Boost Superflow has a long wide channel that extends nicely to the nose. It allows me to rock my hips forward so I can get my torso low and out of the wind without putting pressure on my perineum. The padding is sufficient to take the edge off road imperfections while not being too spongy. I bought the 145mm and have 130mm sit bone width. ... show more

I set up and road on a trainer for 30 odd minutes which is all I could take. It's hard, short, and despite the reviews of decreased perineal pressure and relief from a numb penis, I experienced more pain and suffering with this saddle than I have with the old Flite saddle (now Flite 1990) that I've been riding on since the 90's. back it goes. Going to try the endurance novus version of this one next, and if that sucks, back to the old Flite. ... show more
