Adjustment is key with any seat... And the less cushy the seat the better it needs to be adjusted in my opinion. First ride I didn't quite have it right so an hour in I felt it. Spent 5 mins fine tuning it before the next ride... Perfect! It is a tad grippy. You can't slide into a new position because it will hold onto your shorts. Not that big a deal in my opinion. Great saddle if all you go on is name recognition otherwise prepare to have your bits resolutely torn apart by the adhesive rubber this thing is made of. Really, it's like being glued down. If you're accustomed to shifting around on your saddle, no bueno here--you ain't going nowhere, son/daughter!

The media could not be loaded. The seat is very cool looking. I dont ride with padded shorts so no extra cushion. I was fitted for a seat of this width but the foam on it is really hard I road over 100 miles in a few weeks and I can't take it any more I'm returning it.

This is an excellent saddle for the price. Perfectly comfortable for me. Saddles are super subjective but this one works for me. I like the strap mounting spots in the back for a tube holder.

It looks great and it's comfortable. I haven't taken it for any long rides yet, though I'm a bit concerned about how grippy the surface is. Seems like it could cause some discomfort and wear on the clothing.

Purchased for use on an indoor smart trainer. The usual 120g carbon saddle was not that comfortable beyond an hour while seated. I've had several Selle Italia saddles over the years, always the higher end options, but since weight is not a factor on an indoor trainer, the wider, and more padded profile of the Model X fit the bill. It is suited for someone with an athletic build, meaning someone lacking the typical American sized derriere. If you ride an E-bike, it'll likely be uncomfortable for you. Revised info. While the shape is good, eventually I found the saddle to be lacking any flex, and was causing significant discomfort on longer indoor rides. A month in, replaced with a Selle Italia SP-01 Superflow, which has more flex for the sit bones. ... show more
