  • Outstanding
I realized years ago that the reason I was adding flavored creamers to my coffee was to improve its flavor. Once I tasted an excellent fresh-ground black coffee, there was no turning back. I ditched the creamers and went on a search for an affordable full-flavor coffee bean. I didn't anticipate my search going on for 4 months! - wow, I discovered there's a lot of bitter beans out there :( Seattle's Best Post Alley is full-flavor strong with no bitterness, and very affordable! Since I'm by myself, I also like the smaller bags for freshness. When I was going thru a 3-pound bag, the last beans didn't taste as good no matter how tight I sealed them after each brew. ... show more

  • Best coffee ever
My first experience was with this brand was when Burger King used to have it in their morning breakfast. I had never heard of it, well I tried it and I was hooked and I have never looked. The coffee grounds are a nice rich dark color not the dull Brown you normally see in other coffees.

  • Great Coffee
My wife was in Washington St about 10yrs ago and she thought what to bring home to her hubby ( that’s me😎 ) .As you have figured me out , it was Seattle Best coffee #5 dark roast, I’m hooked .

  • Possibly the best coffee I've ever had
I'm not exaggerating. After trying so many other brands and roasts, I came back to Post Alley and am reminded exactly what I'm looking for. Strong, dark, fresh, not burnt, not bitter, and not sour. The other coffee that's neck and neck with this is Peets Major Dickinson. I also like Starbucks French Roast, but that one is on the border of being over roasted. Until I find something better (aside from getting locally roasted beans at a much higher price) Seattle's Best Post Alley is about as close to perfection to my tastes. ... show more

  • I did not read that it was beans not ground so I had to buy a grinder
I think the Post Alley #5 is the best tasting coffee out there.
