I purchased these (2 pairs) for my grandsons, 9 and 12 years. I actually bought the size 12 for both of them as the younger is a bit more sturdy built than the oldest and they fit them both perfectly. This wet suit fits a little more form fitted than another wetsuit I bought at the same time and in the same size. I know a wetsuit is suppose to be form fitted, but if your child is a little bit thicker, this isn’t the wetsuit for you. My 7yo has been going to swimming lessons at a High School pool. The temperature of the pool was 84.4 deg. all year round. She has complained that the water was too cold. This full body wetsuit was perfect for her. She said it kept her warm. The material was thick and comfortable. Highly recommend!
