    • Nice bulbs. Amazing customer service
I bought these bulbs for a 2003 Ford f250. My headlights were dim and I knew I could get something brighter. When I pulled the bulbs from the truck they had manufacture dates on them telling me they were original to the truck. After doing some research I decided to get these bulbs. I recieved them quickly. They were pretty easy to install in a few minutes. Once installed I turned on the lights and found they were much whiter and seemed brighter. When I had low beams on and turned on the driving lights, the low beam would change to high beam with driving lights. When I changed to high beam they went to high beam and the driving lights turned off. The reason for getting the bulbs was for more light. If I couldn't use my driving lights, what's the point. After more research I learned I probably needed resistors to make the lights operate properly. I quickly ordered Sealight resistors on Amazon and I also contacted the company. The company was quick to get back to me and sent me the needed resistors at no cost. The resistors from Sealight and Amazon arrived the same day. I am pleased with the lights and would order again. Sealight customer service was amazing at how quickly they resolved my issue and at no cost to me. As for the bulbs being installed. They are plug and play. They is plenty of wire for making the connection. I would recommend cutting the area where the wire is on the plastic lock collar so the wire is not bent at a shap angle. When installing the resistors be sure to mount them away from anything that could melt or be damaged by heat. They get HOT. ... show more

    • Only work sometimes???
Product continually doesn't work RANDOMLY, causing the "Lamp Out" light to illuminate on my dash. It even quits working when changing from bright to dim or vise versa, creating a very dangerous situation of having to drive WITHOUT LIGHTS IN THE DARK! I tried calling support number, but goes directly to a generic Verizon voicemail. My vehicle was in the shop until after the 30 day return window, so I wasn't aware of it until too late or course. So, now I have 50 bucks worth of garbage in these "SEALIGHT 9007/HB5 LED Bulbs 14000LM Dual Bulbs X1 Series 6000K Xenon White Non-polarity"... complete junk. I'll add that the brightness level is highly exaggerated, (according to a lumen meter, not just my opinion). You will be quite disappointed. I'd suggest sticking with a halogen lamp from your local car parts supplier. ... show more

    • Looking for a bright headlamp? This is it !!
Upon reading the reviews prior to placing my order I have found answers to some of the things mentioned in those reviews. First is how to get the lock ring over the cooling fins, answer is you don't. The section of the bulb in front of the lock ring is only an adapter to mimic the 9006/ 9007 bulb, it twists off allowing you to put the ring on from the bulb end. Second is the problems encountered on the Ram trucks. Being a Ram owner, I encountered the same problem of flashing lights a " Lamp Out " message on the dash. I found these bulbs have two rows of LED's, one on top and another on the bottom. On low beam only the upper portion of the bulb is lit. This is what causes the problems. The electronics don't see enough amp draw and turn on the lamp out message. This is easily fixed by adding resistors to the low beam circuit. The high beams burn all the LED's and is apparently enough draw to make the electronics happy. They are very bright and do light the road well. ( Hope not too bright, time will tell) The high beams rival HID lights and can be blinding to oncoming vehicles. I would definitely recommend these bulbs ! ... show more

    • Fits, works .... but no more daytime running lights
It fits my car, a 2008 Chevy Cobalt, which has composite plastic headlight assemblies. To install, I simply removed the headlight assembly, has 2 10mm bolts. A wee bit of fuss, getting past the plastic bumper cover, but with a flat bar, it came out. Rotate the OEM collar, remove old lamp, and install the new collar only-- the new LED lamps come apart with a slight twist and pull-- you install the new flange/base, and re-install the OEM collar (push and turn) then install the actual LED cartridge, push and turn. To ensure proper alignment of the LED filaments, I installed the whole first, then holding the new flange with a finger, I removed the LED cartridge, leaving the base in place. Then install the OEM collar, then re-insert the LED. NEGATIVE: My stupid GM daytime running lights no longer function, nor does the "automatic" headlight feature. I'm now back to manual lights-- turn'em on when needed, and hope to remember to turn'em off when parked. I may install a beep-beep reminder-- ignition off, but lights on? *beep*beep*. *sigh* I'd give these 5 stars except for the loss of daytime and auto-headlight features. I blame GM, but at least I have working headlights again. UPDATE: The auto-on/off feature DOES work, but the daytime lights don't, and when I hit "alarm" the headlights do not flash, nor do the headlights stay on for a minute, when turning off the car, and exiting. (they used to do these things, with halogen lamps) ... show more

    • I Am Much Happier With This Brand Of LED Bulbs

I had to buy a new set of LED headlight bulbs after my driver side Fahren LED started flickering, the (“ballast”) part seemed to be malfunctioning. So I found these and was very pleased. From the packaging and instructions to how much simpler it was to install (maybe the included instructions helped more than I realized). But the icing on the cake is how well they look and work, especially the highs. My last set got somewhat brighter, but these by Sealight work just like they should, you hit the highs and it get a little brighter and higher. Now to how long they last, I’ve only been running them a week but I expect it to be better, partly because it has no fan but a bigger heat sink. My last set of LED lights by Fahren had a lifetime of just little over a year. I expect the lifetime of my ownership. Let’s hope. 😅🤞🏼In short, I definitely recommend these bulbs. ... show more

Loved the color and extra light BUT the polarity is revered on these Lights...high beams switched on is actually low brand and low beam switched on are high beams. No way to fix unless your tear apart your factory wiring harness and butcher up the pins to swap! Not ruining my harness and voiding my warranty for something that should be built and tested BEFORE selling. ... show more
