    • Lights are very bright. But it’s more of a flood light than a headlight.
No hard cutoff line just kinda light everywhere which makes the brightness less effective. However that seems to be the case with leds so who knows.

    • Pretty easy to install, very bright headlights
This set of two 9004 LED headlights from Sealight arrived very well packaged and iyeact. According to the product page they are 18000 lumens and 6500K cool white bulbs, I have no way to verify the brightness. These were pretty easy to put in, my husband did have a little bit of problems with the retainer rings but he always does with the Dodge Ram. It took him about fifteen minutes to install one and ten minutes for the second one. These are a lot brighter than the halogen headlights that we had been using. They would probably be brighter if the headlight lenses were clear, but the truck is old and the lenses are yellowed. These have the heat sink built in, not sure of how long that they will last. I will update this review if they don't last very long. The difference in the brightness compared to the old halogen bulbs is so much it's unreal. ... show more

Before I explain my 3 star rating, I want to say that I am a person who is able to do mostly basic car maintenance. For example, I change my own oil and have replaced headlight housings, batteries, and repaired the mechanism that moves my power windows up and down. So, I feel that I am normally able to do a basic repair or replacement such as headlight bulbs with little or no problem if I follow the directions. However, these LED bulbs have been frustrating for me so far and I have not been able to get them installed in such a way that results in a clear beam with a noticeable difference when high beams are engaged. I believe this is for two reasons. One is that the printed instructions contradict the video instructions. The former says to orient the LED in a 3:00-9:00 way (which I'll call vertical) but the video says to orient them in a 12:00-6:00 (which I'll call horizontal). I got them installed oriented horizontally, per the video, and the results on a dark evening are in my first two photos. The second problem is that the 360° lock ring feature means that, unlike the usual halogen bulbs I use, there are multiple angles at which the LED bulbs may be installed, so it is both challenging to get them installed at the correct orientation and I am worried that they will move around when I am on the road. My third phot is a comparison showing the halogen pattern, which is clearly focused on a specific spot on my garage door. I haven't been able to get that same focus with the LED bulbs... yet. I am not giving up, though, because the LED bulbs are so much brighter that it will be worth figuring it out, at which point I will update this review. ... show more

    • Very Easy Installation and SUPER bright lights!
These were installed by our local mechanic-- they are amazingly bright! I have an 1990 F150-- so my high beam is a button on the floor-- these were installed twice- because we thought they were put in somehow wrong the first time-- the flaw will not affect me-- but.......... So, the low beam is higher than the low beam light-- so in my case-- I just make sure I click the beam button on the floor and they are good to go---- but............ if these were installed on our newer truck- that has the sensors for when a vehicle is approaching the truck will automatically turn on the highbeam instead of the low beam. The light is incredibly bright-- low is crazy bright and high beam is liking turning night into day! I love them! ... show more

Had no blue hue, pure white super bright, but I was hoping for the blue hue fans are a little loud, but you have to listen for them. Altogether pretty great headlight. Easy install.
