I normally wear a medium and ordered a medium. The fit is perfect. The bottom of the jacket hits the middle of my hips, as seen in pic. I like the stretchy material found at the cuffs and at the bottom hem of the jacket. In the pic, I'm wearing a light sweatshirt under the lightweight jacket and the sweatshirt is pulled over the jacket cuffs. It's a good jacket for chilly offices. This lightweight is above jacket is nice, I love the color that I chose. I normally would always wear a medium in anything that I get but looking at that size chart, I knew I better go up in size. I got the large. Trying on this large, now I know I should’ve gone up one more to an extra large. The sizing chart isn’t really that accurate but Lord, it’s really off. The zipper is not very fluid, I’m hoping it will get better over wearing it more. It’s going to be nice to be something a little lighter weight as an extra layer. If you plan on ordering this, you might want to size up maybe two times. This was very snug on me and I would’ve gone with an extra large had I known it was going to be the snug. This is a very nice scrub jacket. It is lightweight with stretchy, giving fabric. It is more like a windbreaker type of jacket and I am not a big fan of that material. The sleeves and bottom of the jacket are trimmed with softer material. I expected that there would have been openings at the wrists for fingers to go through, but it is clearly not that type of jacket. It features deep pockets, which are essential for me. I ordered this jacket in a size medium and I initially thought it was going to be too tight. After zipping it up and playing around with it on I am happy with this size. It can be worn with the rim of it tucked or left hanging down. I got this jacket to go with my workout outfits, not for the nurses option and I am pleased with the color and the fit. However, depending on personal preference of how one likes their jackets to fit, whether loose of fitted, before ordering take notice of sizing. ... show more

This is a light jacket, just enough protection to take off a slightly chilly evening. The only feature related to medical field is the left shoulder patch. The fit is more for normal to thinner people but is true to size. No inside pockets and very easy to wash and dry.
