I purchased this mainly because I was curious about the various kits that are offered now. I loved it. Usually I make my own journals or will simply alter a book, but sometimes I do not have time for all of that. This was the perfect solution. All of the supplies that came with the book are great. It's the perfect size when you just want to relax and do some easy collages. I started working with this when I was super busy at work and it allowed me to have a creative outlet without all of the mess of a full blown art project. For a first timer or even a seasoned ‘messes around with paper’ person, this little set is so, so nice! You get a journal, stickers, papers, tapes—it is 100% worth every penny. I go through a lot of forest imagery and I was honestly surprised and pleased by how much was here, and also by the fact that almost everything was something I wanted to use. Sometimes you’ll buy a box of papers and even though you like the theme, there’s a bunch of stuff you end up not liking or wanting to use very much. But that wasn’t so at all with this set! I love it and will probably end up with a few more. My niece has expressed some interest in collage or journaling (or whatever the heck this is!) too, and I’m definitely going to get one for her. This is a beautiful set and the presentation is really nice as well. The items look like decent quality - and while the notebook isn't my usual go-to size, I'm excited to try working with this. However, I'm extremely disappointed by how different the colors look in reality - compared to the pictures. They're much, much darker and duller; which is especially noticeable for things like the gnomes and strawberries. The overall effect is kind of ruined for me but I'm going to try to work with it anyway. A mixed bag of what's good and other items that are meh or just bad. Has some nice stickers, and I like the memo notes , etc. But the papers don't have a whole lot of use, some of the grammar on stickers is nonsensical, or they're so light on a clear sticker that you can't actually see it on a page. It's not bad and you'll use some, but it's probably more cost effective to get a different set, or individual items. ... show more
