The securing fittings on the buffing wheels shafts are manufactured to grip the buffing wheels and do a very good job even going just finger tight. Great that they ship 2 of the drill mounts, less changing required. So far I've only used they last 2 (soft and fine) to buff up some smaller rock slabs I've been working on. Brought them up to a decent gloss finish (compound was applied to buffing wheels for higher gloss). Works great in my drill press. ... show more

Total waste of money... immediately upon spinning one of these pads up, a cloud of fibres filled the air. Made a total mess and didn't do the inrtended job of buffing out aluminum engine pieces.
