  • Great quality, especially for the price!
Got this guitar for my 2 year old for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! It's well-made but we only let him play while we're supervising so it doesn't get broken. Sounds great and looks more expensive than it was.

  • Schylling - shame on you for putting this junk on the market
What a piece of crap.... don't waste your $$. We bought this for our 2 1/2 year old... have had it for a week and we're down to 2 strings already (and these are the 2 replacements that come with the guitar, so we've basically lost 1 string per day). Its really horrible quality... i was strumming the guitar gently and one of the strings broke so i know its not my son being overaggressive with it. I also worry that the problem doesn't end with the strings... there are other parts of this piece that are coming apart already (the brakcet to hold the strings, and the neck of the guitar). I've given up on this and have just ordered a real guitar... it will be too big for my son to hold but at least he will be able to get sound out of it. Shame on you Schylling. ... show more

  • Decent
Bought this for my 2.5 year old twins. I had read reviews, and followed one grandmothers recommendation of how to tighten the screws and not break the strings. Very happy she posted that! I would have otherwise been VERY annoyed at the quality. Against my wishes, someone tuned the guitar and broke 2 strings, so both extra's it came with are gone. Then my kids played with it for a day and another string broke. I'm hoping to get it into the music shop for better quality strings, but for the price - you can't beat this! My kids LOVE it, and really, thats all that matters. ... show more

  • Guitar
This was smaller than I thought and the strings fell off the guitar right away. It's now just in the bottom of the toy box.

  • HORRIBLE. Cannot be tuned.
Horrible. I was weary about this purchase because of the poor reviews but a couple said "follow the instructions on the back to tune the guitar and it works fine". With that, I made the purchase. I followed the instructions on the back and it is impossible to properly tune this guitar. I play guitar myself and I know how to tune a guitar. The only progress I made was by tightening the screws on the tuning pegs. With that you can get the strings to stay tight, but not hold a note. Do not buy this guitar. If you have hopes that your child will play a single chord, it cannot be done on this toy. If you just want to get your tottler something to strum, DO NOT BUY THIS P.O.S. The strings come lose so easily, you will be "tuning" the guitar more than the child will be playing it. ... show more
