This monitor is fantastic. After only ever owning a low end laptop, I decided to take the plunge and buy a low end PC. This is the budget monitor I chose in the end. The quality is incredible and everything is beautiful to look at. HOWEVER. The speakers/sound quality is absolutely terrible. I thought I would be all set once I had everything plugged in but once I tested the sound with a Youtube music video, I was shocked. The incredibly poor sound quality is totally out of place when compared to the rest of the monitor. Very disappointed. I ordered three of these for my company offices and ended up needing another one for mine. I ordered that one and received it quickly, just like the last time, but it was defective. The left side of the screen was terribly dark when I turned it on, and I tried to adjust the display settings and such, but nothing worked. I filed a return with Amazon and dropped the defective monitor off, without packaging it or anything, not having to pay for shipping, and it was super easy and painless. I received the replacement just a couple of days after they saw I shipped the defective one. This monitor is amazing. For a generally lower price than others, you get up to 180Hz refresh rate on PC and consoles get up to 120Hz at 1080p. One gripe is that it has AMD Free-Sync but my PS5 did not detect that I had VRR. The other gripe is the motion...blur? ghosting? Basically you have a tiny bit of bur that's not noticeable while gaming, but can make reading text while scrolling a little difficult.
