  • Good monitor so far.
The media could not be loaded. I ordered two, and as can be seen in the video, I received two different monitors—though they are very similar and will serve my needs. I am just a little confused that I have two different monitors. The monitors themselves both work great and have excellent quality image display. ... show more

  • This is better than I would have thought!
I had purchased an HP monitor last fall with my (new to me) refurbished mini-mac that I purchased on Amazon too. Love the mini-mac but not the HP monitor so I started looking until a few weeks ago I found my Sceptre Curved 24" 75Hz Professional LED Monitor 1080p 98% sRGB HDMI VGA Build-in Speakers. I got it yesterday and a friend helped me to set it up as I am in a wheelchair and can not do many things on my own. Steven lives across the hall, from me, in my apartment building and he is a very handy, smart man who also is a jazz musician. So Steven helped me get it from the mail room up to my apartment, unboxed it, and while I read the directions, putting the base of the monitor was not hard but it was tricky for us, and so he put together and set up my nwq AWESOME monitor. He was as 'wowed' as I was with the quality of the picture on the screen. The colors and detail seemed not just better than any monitoe either of us had seen before, but was stuning. I LOVE THIS MONITOR. This curved screen is crazy great, adding subtle deapth to pictures you don't at first understand why the pictures look so real.. You have got to get this monitor - it is GREAT! If I could I would give the value for money stars a plus sign after the stars because it is such a terrific value for what you paid. And would also gitve the quality of picture stars a plus sign also. You have got to see it to believe it! ... show more

  • Great monitor, but is it really 75Hz???
The media could not be loaded. These monitors are Great! Great price-point on some great monitors with great specs from a great company. Sceptre has been around for a long time... I've had many older monitors from them in the past, but never a "gaming" display. So I bought 2 of these! I've noticed during installation that Windows 10 hates me, pretty much exclusively, but regardless... These are some issues I had, and fixes I incorporated. Windows didn't register the monitor as anything but a Generic PnP Monitor, defaulted to old speakers, mismatched the second display resolution, offset the scale and reversed the order of the display identity. I smirked and restarted the computer. All was rectified, except they were not running at 75Hz. If you right click on your Windows Desktop, select "Display Settings," scroll down and click on "Advanced display settings," you'll see that they may default to 50 or 60Hz. I then Clicked "Display adapter properties for Display 1" and from the "List All Modes" button on the bottom I was able to select a desired 75Hz resolution. ...And it still says it's running at 74Hz ::Dunno:: All I know is that it looks amazing, and I'm so much better off than I was with my old monitors. ... show more

  • Inexpensive 2 monitor setup
I've got 4 computers (Mac, Pi, Linux and PC laptop) and opted for two of these side by side. Glad they offer two HDMI inputs, I needed that or maybe HDMI + DP. So many monitors still give you VGA. Although the specs say 75Hz, all the computers I'm using report 60Hz, and cannot adjust it. Maybe the video cards don't support it, who knows. Can't beat the price, and the picture quality is acceptable to my eye. I wasn't expecting much in the way of sound quality, and I wasn't disappointed. I do need to hear if sound is being produced, so the quality is not a big deal to me. There is an audio out jack on the back, but it doesn't seem to work from an HDMI source. Biggest disappointment is the control buttons being on the back and on one side (right). What this means in my setup is I have to move the monitors so I can reach around the side to access them. They should have put them on the bottom. Because of the button placement and non-functioning Audio out I dropped them one star. Still very happy with my purchase though ... show more
