I have a 9 ft fake Christmas tree. The main thing I don't like about fake trees is the lack of Christmas tree smell. This provides it. I put 4 sticks in my tree and the smell is amazing! I was given a tube of these from a neighbor and as soon as I opened the lid I was sold and HAD to order some of my own. They smell amazing and more realistic than the seasonal Febreze or Glade sprays. One stick is powerful scent wise and I had one in my tiny tree, one hanging from my living room lamp, and one in my bedroom and my entire apartment smells like fresh cut pine or a very fragrant wreath. Also they claim to use natural essential oils to scent the sticks. There is also a sealed bag of pretty cool looking hooks to hang with. It’s also worth mentioning that since Christmas 2023 I’m still hanging new ones about every 40 to 60 days and all my guests comment on how good it smells and ask what I use. ... show more

    • Enjoy the Smell Avoid the Oils
First off, it's a great product. I love the authentic smell. Know why? Because they use pine oil in the packaging to keep them fresh and deodorized. But be forewarned that if you purchase them, open them over a sink or outside, where if they leak, it's not the end of the world. I did not realize why my package from Amazon was wet, and when I discovered it was an oil stain, it was too late. Don't open the box on any upholstery; you'll be fine. ... show more

I love these things! I saw them in a store a few years ago and bought them on a whim. They work pretty well. I stuck them in my artificial tree, and it made most of the house smell like pine. It really helped make the place feel extra Christmasy. The only downside is they're a little like car air fresheners: they're super strong the first few days, then they start to fade. That could just be because we got used to them after a day or two, but you're probably going to have to get pretty close to the tree to smell any pine after the first week or two. This product smells amazing. I use a fake tree, but love the smell of real trees and this product brings that to life. I will get this every single year just to maintain my house smiling like Christmas during the holidays. The smell is strong and you can’t see it.
