I had never bought from this seller before, but for the price I figured it was worth a gamble. I bought this for my son, who will be three on Halloween, he’s 38inches tall and weighs 38 pounds. I bought him the 3t. It’s perfect! If I could change anything I probably would have went up a size (he’s chubby 😅). We went to a fall festival today and kids/parents were stopping us and asking to take pictures with him. He LOVES this costume. I will warn you though the material is a little thick, which is great because it’s very durable, but we live in Southeast Texas and it’s still in the high 90’s this time of year 🥵. We wanted to love this costume, but the mask was pretty uncomfortable for my son to wear. We wrapped a bandana around his head underneath as the mask rubbed against his forehead. Then he couldn't breathe very well. The costume was very warm too. The second picture was him pouting in the corner (due to poor fit of said mask), but it made for a comical pic lol ... show more

I ordered this for my 6 years old. The size said 5/7 years old, but it would fit him until he is 15 if it last. My son is relatively smaller compared to other kids his age, but this is way too big. the one they say is for 5/7 years old, is actually for 8/10. It is also poorly designed.

    • The Mask Was Not Up to the Task

I ordered this for my son for Halloween and I'm giving it three stars because it really does look great! The detailing on the costume is cool and the rope accessories are good quality. The mask looks awesome and the fact that the kid looks out through the mouth is fun. However, I had to deduct two stars for the mask design. When the costume is on, the child has no access to their mouth or face without undoing the velcro. I think our 11 year old son was messing around with it quite a bit trying to get candy in his mouth (it is Halloween after all!) and he is not exactly gentle with things. Unfortunately, the glue holding the elastic strap onto the mask came undone about a half hour into our evening. My husband tried to fix it with no luck. It was unwearable and the hood is way too big without the large mask holding it up. In the end my son had fun dressed as a sort of disheveled monk and it didn't ruin his night. I was more disappointed than he was because I felt that, for the price of the costume, the mask should have been a bit sturdier. Perhaps he was too rough on it, but this is designed for kids. A better mask design would definitely make this a five star costume. Another thing to note: visibility and especially peripheral vision are limited by the costume design. Little ones (and some older kids) would definitely need help crossing the street while wearing this. I hope this was helpful! ... show more

There were alot of reviews on this that were bad, but when i got the costume it was great. Was not damaged, like the bad reviews, the fit was for a 5 yr old who is 42 in tall and size large. My location halloween is cold and this was warmer, a local church asked us while walking by to come in for the costune contest. Didnt see any costume close to this one around. Scary. Only complaint is my 5 yr old said after awhile the straps were making her head soar. ... show more

Dad picked costumes with the kids this year, and this was the winner for our 9 year old even over the Fortnite costumes he had picked out. First, my review as mom. I personally think it looked super cool, and was happy with the structure of the mask (for those parents saying it felt cheap, have you been to a costume store these days? Most masks for kids are usually thin cheap plastic) this mask is solid styrofoam. The rope for the neck is a noose, i wasnt super thrilled about that because in the photo it just looks like a rope. Its very much a noose which seems a bit much for a kids costume. The overall look of the costume to me though was very spooky, loved the robes look and it kept its shape perfectly. Halloween he was so excited to put it on, then immediately wanted it off. My sons review is he hated how hard the mask was, even the soft sponge band was too thin. I think if there was more padding inside it would have worked fine, but also the robe was slightly tight in a couple spots, not too bad though. Overall he wouldn’t want to ever wear it again BUT on Halloween he got tons of compliments from other kids, he got more compliments this year on this costume than any costume prior. We are now going to use this costume to make a porch prop for next Halloween. ... show more
