I am using this one item as an example to thank Amazon for their services. Mostly anything I have ordered in the last few years came in good time and worked well. As far as this kind of paint goes, I usually would not consider it to be a medium for beginners; however, as far as acrylic paint goes, this much of it for the price is really great. From what I understood, adding water to acrylic paint is not a common recommendation; the label says that it is okay to do. I diluted the paint with 50% rubbing alcohol for an actual painting, and was impressed [at least partially] with the final result. The thing that impresses me the most about this jug of paint, I can mix 3 fl. oz. of it with 3 fl. oz. of isopropyl alcohol and consider myself to have a whole jar of ink for stylish calligraphy. For the price, that much ink would last even the most insane of writers an 'amount' of time, regardless of how much ink they figured to put on paper. Even if I put aside a jar of ink from it, I plan to use it for 'woodcut-like' paintings or monochromatic presentations. As far as what people use this for; I recommend reading other reviews/questions about it - many people know a great deal these days, in regards to technique and artistic pursuit. This much paint could be used for all kinds of things, from hobby boxes to Christmas ornaments. Thank you, Amazon, for all you do; I cannot imagine how many people in America live a much better life due to the services you have continued to provide; and I look forward to a brighter future as I continue to learn to do business with you better. :) ... show more

This paint is really thick, which is great!! Coverage is excellent and if it's too thick, all you need to do is thin it down with a little water. The red was a perfect match for a red banner that had yellow text on it that I needed to cover. I really lucked out on the color match. I'd call it a tomato red. This jug is a great value and really easy to use. Actually, I poured (plopped) some paint out onto a pan and used a small paint roller to paint over my polyester signs. Worked great. It'd buy this again in any color, especially if I need a larger bottle. ... show more

We used up every bit of it and it was so great that it didn’t pour out of the bottles - teenagers can waste so much paint if it’s too loose. This is thick!
