I added this SawStop router table cast iron wing to a 20 year old 3 HP Delta Unisaw. The quality of the router table wing is the best I’ve seen. Extremely nice top finish, and very nicely machined slots and openings. Since this is made for a SawStop, none of the holes on the wing lined up with my Unisaw. The three tapped 7/16 holes on my Unisaw table lined up with casting ribs on the SawStop wing, so I decided to use the four larger holes on the SawStop wing and drill and tap four 3/8 holes on the Unisaw table. Easy drilling and taping, but the bolt on left (rear of saw) was difficult to get a wrench on because of a stud that holds the top to the saw’s base. I made a template (27 x 1-1/2) out of 1/4 plywood and tapped it to the wing to mark the holes. I then transferred the template to the edge of the table to mark where to drill the 4 holes. Even using the template, my holes were off ever so slightly, and didn’t give me the adjustment I needed to level the wing to the top and center it. I just enlarged the four holes on the SawStop that I was using by one drill size, and that gave me the slight adjustment I needed. I intend to install the SawStop downdraft box to collect dust/shavings, but I may have a clearance issue with the angle adjustment handle, since this is a right tilt saw. I also added a bolt through the end of my Biesemeyer front and rear rails into the sides of the SawStop wing for extra support. Overall, extremely happy with the SawStop wing, my JessEm Master II lift fit perfect. To install the four corner hold down bolts would require grinding some material off the inside corners. I didn’t Bother installing the hold down bolts, I just leveled it. With a 3 HP PC router installed, the plate isn’t moving. ... show more

Big, heavy, solid, well-finished cast-iron router table. Fit well into my Craftsman table saw. Definitely needed to add the support legs. The design locks you into Saw-Stop add-ons such as the fence (which is also great). I added a Kreg table insert with minor modifications. And I recently added a Rockler dust collection box that fits well and only needed two short lengths of aluminum angle for the existing mounting holes in the table. I bought from Amazon: Sawstop cast iron table top insert, Sawstop cast iron table extension for a router (a router table), and Sawstop router power switch kit, all for my SawStop Professional Cabinet Saw (PCS). The finish and quality are excellent: the extension fit right into the top of the saw, and the router table fit onto that, making a perfectly flat extension to the table saw. The power switch comes with the hardware to adapt the saw legs to hold up the router table, and the new attachment is much more sturdy than the original. A note: The side-to-side holes under the table, intended for mounting the Sawstop dust cabinet are about 35.1 mm apart on center. I bought a Harvey under-table dust cabinet, which looked like it would bolt right on. The holes on the dust cabinet are 34.1 mm apart. There is a similar misalignment for the four front-to-back holes. Needless to say, the screws won't go. I'll enlarge the holes and it will be OK. ... show more

I installed this on an older Powermatic 65 cabinet saw (the older brother to the Powermatic 66). I knew it would't be a direct bolt on as it's made for a Saw Stop. I made an adapter using two pieces of 2" x 2" steel tubing 28" long, drilled on one side for the router table and on the other side for the saw table bolt locations. Then I used a hole saw to drill 3 1 3/4" holes in the bottom of the channel for wrench access. ( I had to move the router table 4" to the left because since the PM 65 is a left tilt saw, and the motor is on the left side of the cabinet, and the table saw motor would hit the router when it was raised up, and due to location constraints I couldn't put it on the right.) It works fine, is a good value, and the cutout fits my Jess Em router lift, although I did have to modify the holes in the corner in order to bolt the router lift down. This thing is absolutely beautiful and bolted directly to my craftsman pro saw. Packed very well. Top finish is perfect. It is flat better than .005". My only complaint the edge that bolts to the saw was pretty badly out of square. I didn't measure it but is was close to .005" out over the 1.5" thickness, and the finish was bad. Judging by the rest of the piece this must have been an oversight. Shimming it not impossible but would be tedious. I could have returned it but instead took and hour or so and milled it square. For stand alone as a router table this would have no effect at all. I gave 5 stars anyway since the rest of the thing is so great and the price is right. The edge should have been face milled like most table edges but they used the side of a (dull and probably too small diameter) end mill. Probably end milled to keep the cost down but somebody slipped up and did a crummy job. I called sawstop to get the bolt pattern for the lift pocket since I'm making my own lift. Customer service guy said if it wasn't in the included (and very nice) manual he couldn't help at all. I was not impressed. Not exactly a trade secret here. Anybody can measure it but wanted to save that time. Didn't ask about crooked edge but since no tolerances are published i expect I would have gotten some lame response. BTW the lift pocket dimensions are metric. The miter slot is english though. I would definitely buy another if I needed one. Check the edge squareness first thing. Manual instructs to get the mounting hardware from another product. If you're attaching to a Sawstop, just get the bundle set since the hardware and legs from the normal extensions are not compatible.

Mounted this to my Grizzly table saw. Had to relocate a few mounting holes but that was to be expected. Very nicely made, surface finish on the top was much nicer than the saw top.
