The ideal printer for the growing business or ambitious entrepreneur, the SG1000 prints on media up to 11" x 17" with the standard tray. Or expand the max media size to 13" x 51" with the bypass tray. Great for apparel & soft goods. Has been updated inside out from its predecessor, the SG800. The SG1000 is backwards-compatible with all SG800 accessories. Like all Sawgrass printers, the SG1000 performs its own automatic maintenance cycle for trouble-free printing. Decorate a wide variety of products made from polyester fabrics or polymer-coated rigid media including: Aluminum Panels and Inserts, Hardboard and Wood Plaques, Tile, Mugs, Acrylic, Glass, Slate, Polyester Fabric, and Reinforced Fiberglass Plastic.

This printer is the one I've been wanting to purchase for quite a while. Now that I finally have it, there are a few features that have me wondering if I made the right purchase. First of all, it came with the ink but I still needed to buy more ink once the tanks were filled. These cartridges are very expensive. The next thing is trying to contact a physical support person, which I still have not been able to do. Although they do have videos that can walk you through the machine setup, it would be nice to speak to a human about specific issues that may arise. (Like why do you need to sign into a design website to get support)?? ... show more

We’ve been trying to get through to support for this item for a year now!!! Can’t even use it😡. Kicks us out and looses our password every time we try to use it!! Can’t talk to a real person😡. Have to reload printer constantly!!! That’s a lot of money to waste…. Would have returned it but the window was too late. I can’t tell you how upset I am about this printer!!! ... show more
