Below is what I originally posted. I wanted to update because the company I bought the dresser from, Cymax, contacted Sauder on my behalf and Sauder is sending me a new dresser top and drawer bottom. I'm very pleased with the way both Cymax and Sauder stood by their merchandise. The dresser is a nice piece considering it's made of pressboard. (I was well-aware of that since I've bought Sauder pieces before.) Unfortunately, there were 3 areas damaged - 2 cracks in the dresser top and 1 cracked drawer bottom. (The box did not appear to be damaged.) Some will find this foolish, I did keep the dresser as is, mainly because it weighs almost 100 pounds and it was just too much for me to handle. I might would have returned it had I noticed the damage as soon as I unpacked the pieces from the box. That's why I strongly recommend inspecting each piece very carefully. I have contacted the seller to see if I might be able to get the 2 pieces replaced. ... show more

Like everyone else has said, this takes forever to put together (alone). It took me about 3 hours. I highly recommend having someone else help out and put together the drawers while you assemble the structure. The quality of wood is great, and i love how it looks in my room. Unfortunately, the top piece of wood is warped and i didn’t notice until it was all assembled. There’s no way in heck I’m going to take this apart or ask for a new piece of wood from the company because i don’t want to spend another afternoon putting this together. With that being said, it isn’t super noticeable (you can see the ends of the top are slightly bowing up). The drawers slide in and out ok, but i also attribute that to my less than stellar skills at assembling. I think i saw this for sale on another site for 300$+ more, so def a great deal on Amazon. Also - it’s 150 lbs. i managed to slide it into my bedroom from the front door. If it’s too heavy, you can just open the package where it’s at and take the pieces you need to the room it’s going. ... show more

This is by far thee WORST and most expensive piece of junk I've ever purchased EVER. After spending $140 on a PROFESSIONAL furniture assemblyman, he showed me how pieces were cut improperly AND holes were drilled incorrectly. I had called in this guy AFTER my friend came to assemble it and pretty much told me the saaaame thing.... This is shipped from a 3rd party vendor & they asked me to send back a 70% assembled dresser back... HOW Genius?? The box was discarded already. So they said donate it to Goodwill, or 3 other agencies they sent me in order to get a refund.... I asked if they're sure any org would want this when it's in an unusable condition.... They then RECANT and withdraw their offer to refund. And needless to say, they didn't even wanna see the receipt from Handy.com where I had hired someone to assemble it. I wasted $440 on this and NOTHING.... No assistance whatsoever.... And for some strange reason, despite sending in pics on how badly aligned the dresser is that obviously prevent the drawers from closing and the middle being cut wrong, thus throwing off the entire functionality of the dresser, the seller did nithinf ti address the defective product.... 2 of the 6 drawers do not close unless you slam them and it's just a really, REALLY bad piece. The other review below warned me abiut ut sagging in a few months but I figured perhaps it was just one bad box that person received but NO, it really is just a trashy piece of garbage b/c mine started sagging after a few days with just a few items on it. Gross negligence to even sell this fancy piece of cardboard-quality junk. I had to buy a replacement dresser from Ashley Furniture and thankfully it doesn't need ANY assembly like this cheap particleboard piece of trash. The one from Ashley (called Zelen) is also particleboard but you can definitely see and feel the difference in quality. Ignore the aesthetic and take heed to this review and the other one below, b/c I had that saaaame issue w/ drrsser sagging as well! Look at the pics. That's as far as the drawers go in. See how they arr asymmetrical and overlap??? Just TERRIBLE. PS- Did I mention this is a piece of trash?? ... show more

Loved this dresser! Putting it together took my husband about 3 hours. But it was well worth it, the quality is great! Looks like a very expensive piece of furniture, very sturdy, spacious drawers. Using it in the nursery and it comes with what is needed to anchor it as well. The safety features are great, you cannot open two drawers from the same side at the same time. I love it! ... show more
