However, my feet are only slightly wider than average due to fallen arches: If your feet are quite wide, these sneakers may not provide enough room. I'm an old lady runner and these shoes brought my feet back to their peak! I did the try before you buy and tried many different shoes. These are by FAR the best! If you are, or have ever been, or are thinking about becoming a runner/jogger, give Saucony a try!

For all intents and purposes these are awesome. I removed a star because I have to wear orthotics, and it doesn't feel like the shoe is deep enough after replacing the factory sole with the sole and supposed to wear. The soul orthotic that I'm supposed to wear as a slightly thicker heel, but as comparably thin to the soles that came with the shoe. Fits with the very thin socks. I have vascular feet, so it's not that I have fat feet. Just my opinion. Outside of that discrepancy the shoe looks great, Saucony is a trusted brand, and I wear them at least 6 hours of the day. ... show more

At my podiatrist's recommendation, I was on a quest to find comfortable, supportive shoes with stability control for my severe flat feet. The intention was always to replace the insoles, but I needed a shoe with stability features. As someone who far prefers sandals, making the switch to sneakers was daunting. I tried on approximately 10 pairs (3 were specifically recommended), but with the specific features in mind, I kept hunting. I found these and fell in love. They are light and feel springy when I walk. They are breathable. They have tons of colors so I already have another pair in my cart. I did size up half a size so I'd have a little extra room in the toe area. The only change I made was switching the insoles to the ones recommended by my podiatrist. The change in my feet is night and day. No more pain when I walk! As soon as I take my shoes off, I can feel the difference. ... show more

I admit, I initially had reservations ordering th9s color combo but I absolutely love the colors and the fit of the shoe. I work 45<>60 hours a week in Healthcare and am on my feet 50<>80% of my day. I also take daily walks of 1<>3 miles and they last me about 6<>8 months with that level of use.

    • Great Shoes, Except...
I have worn Saucony Guide for many years and have loved them for their comfort and support, both of which are still great. However, starting with the Guide 15, the shoes essentially scoop water from the front toe directly into the top of the shoe. Due to the shoe's fantastic breathability, water easily soaks through the shoe, right onto your sock, foot, and insole of the shoe. One walk across a parking lot in the rain will leave you completely soaked, feet squishing around until you can change. I purchased the Guide 16, hoping Saucony had resolved this issue on the most recent model, which my family calls my "scoop shoes," they have clearly not. These shoes still feel great in regards to being supportive of my flat feet and comfortable enough to be on my feet all day, but they are only for sunny days when there's no water on the ground. ... show more
