  • Perfect for narrow feet
I have narrow feet and these shoes fit perfect (size 7.5, my normal size). Tight but not too tight around the middle of my foot with lots of room for my toes without looking like I have duck feet. No slippage on the heel. The shoes are well made and ready to wear right out of the box. Walked around in them for 2 days just to break them in before taking them out on a long hike and I had no issues with them other than a small hot spot under my ankle bone. I was a bit worried about that but that area of the shoe seems to have quickly softened up after wearing them a lot over the last 48 hrs. I bought these shoes specifically for hiking and backpacking and their big test came yesterday on a 20 km day hike in what turned out to be heavy rain. The shoes performed great going up and down the mountain on slick surfaces and through mud. Nice sticky grip on the soles, good stability on rocky, uneven surfaces. Just the right amount of padding for comfort. Feel very light on your feet. At the end of they day, they cleaned up nicely and the materials held up well to the conditions. I'm very impressed and will definitely be buying another pair or three, four, five... ... show more

  • This show as built is a fantastic turf shoe for softball or baseball
Color: Clay/Loam Size: 11
THIS SHOE HAS A Lot Of LATERAL Support. I use the shoe on turf when playing softball. It is a very comfortable shoe, that gets you on your toes when you need to run.

  • Good shoes
Color: Vizigld/Vizired Size: 13
This is a great fitting and comfortable shoe, but the color online is not the color I received. Maybe it’s just the lighting during the photo but the actual shoe looks slightly different. It’s still a beautiful shoe just not as bright yellow as I was expecting.

  • Comfortable with good gripping
Color: Black/Charcoal Size: 12
I use the shoes for shooting competitions, where I need good traction for running on dirt. The cleats are good and they are very comfortable.

  • Not as much room as a previous model
Color: Black/Charcoal Size: 10.5
I had to update my Peregrines because my dog ate one of the old ones. I'm not a serious runner, so I've had the old ones for many years. The toe box on the Peregrine 12 is definitely not as wide as my previous shoes, and I find them a little snug across the top of my foot. The size is identical across both models. They are definitely grippy on the decomposed granite and loose soil around our property, and comfortable across uneven ground. ... show more

  • Great trail shoe
Color: Black/Charcoal Size: 10.5
Bought as a replacement for the Brooks Calderas which have changed quite a bit this generation. They themselves were to replace the Brooks Pure Grits, which also got weird. Super happy with this shoe: great weight, holds up well in the AZ deserts, nice big lugs -- you know I like nice big lugs. Don't ever change and betray Saucony! ... show more

  • Not as good as the Peregrine 10 - Sole already worn out after a few street runs
Color: Campfire Stories Size: 12
I've never owned the Peregrine 11 so I cannot comment on whether this is a trend with Saucony, but I've owned the Peregrine 10 (and a lot of other non-trail shoes from them) and the 10 is just a better shoe. It's got better lateral/lower ankle support, a more cushiony strike, and better knobby cleats for real trail running up and down non-paved hills. It took me a few days to figure it out, but what it looks like happened here is Saucony is going for curb appeal and sacrificing engineering to do it. By this I mean that they've got a much sleeker, more modern looking shoe because they've used ultra-modern fabrics for the upper and some sort of carbon fiber between the rubber sole and footbed. You'd think it's a lot lighter than the 10, and it may be slightly. But what you gain in lower weight, you lose in cushion and support and traction. The Peregrine 10 has a very thick rubber cleated sole and a much more padded foam insert in between. Saucony used less rubber and foam for this sole and instead seem to have inserted a stiffer faux(?) carbon fiber insert above a thinner sole w/ thinner foam padding but used a more modern almost memory foam insole as compared to what came in the 10 which was you find in your typical athletic shoe. UPDATE: The soles on the Peregrine 12s (and the GTX pair I bought) are basically worn out according to my usual supinated wear pattern. So there are no more "nobs" along the back and outside of the soles. This shoe with its harder rubber sole actually wore out faster by using it on the street (yeah, I know they're trail shoes) than the Peregrine 10s did. Disappointing. I took the improved insoles out of the 12 and am using them in the 10 before they wear out too much. The other thing is that this model has an odd fit on the foot. The Peregrine 10 fit perfectly with contours seeming to match the foot exactly. This one is relying too much on this new fangled memory foam (there's a clever marketing label on them, unlike in the past, and it's rainbow colored in the Campfire Stories orange color pair). 3/5. Good enough. But not as good as the previous iterations of the Peregrine. ... show more
