    • IT NEVER DRIES, DON'T BUY IT!
I bought this set to make a picture for a gift for my friend. I am not a newbie for oil painting, even finished an art school many years ago, and love working with oil, but currently don't not have any oil paints at home (the old ones I have dried) and I only needed a few colors, so I thought I can save and bought this one. Well, I started my paining two weeks ago, and it still did not dry. It's as wet as it was two weeks ago. Every time when I am trying to add something, after waiting a few days, the new touch just removes the previous one. I am so frustrated by now, I will go to a store tomorrow to buy a good paint set and I will throw away this worthless set. DON'T BUY IT! ... show more

The tubes were all leaking oil in the boxes.

    • Not horrible but not good either
The primary colors are off or not true, when mixing your own colors. I tried to make magenta the best I could get was mauve. The red when mixed with white gives a rusty rose and not pink. That’s a dealbreaker for me. Once you apply to canvas it appears to dry quickly, it’s not actually dry but less fluid and hard to move around due absorbing into canvas. So either need to extra prime canvas or use a solvent like turpentine which is not kid friendly like this is advertised for. Maybe better if you are apply with pallet knife because it does keep its thickness to add texture. It doesn’t stain your skin like normal oils do which might be a plus. ... show more
