I have never owned a “trench” coat but have known for years that it is considered a wardrobe staple. I am 5’6” 117 lbs and bought size S in black. I love it! It’s heavy weight and the material is soft and feels to be of quality. I absolutely hate the plaid interior lining, I thought it would be the reason I’d return it, but I removed the hood and now you can’t see the lining! I would probably rarely use the hood anyway. The belt and belt loops do sit too high as other reviews mentioned, but it’s not a deal breaker. The belt is more up around my rib cage, not my waist. It looks ok! I love this coat and it is big enough to wear over winter sweaters! The sleeves are also long enough which is always a plus. It is a bit boxy but since when is a trench coat supposed to be super figure flattering? I’m going to wear this to work at my office everyday this fall! Love it! ... show more

I bought this last February and only used it a couple of times in the rain. This autumn season it has worked well in light rain. I like the silky feel of the fabric, deep pockets and it keeps me warm. I live in a climate where the temperature usually does not dip below the low 30s. Only wish the belt came with a buckle. I like the fit and length of the coat. I was worried about the sleeves being too long but I’m 5’3” and the length was fine. The fabric has a sheen. It’s been out of the package for several days, but the wrinkles are still there. Not sure how to get them out. It’s 100% polyester. Tag says do not iron and do not tumble dry. I purchased this raincoat for a work trip & it did not disappoint. The thickness is lightweight but keeps you warm when it’s a cold rainy day. The size is true to size as it was a little loose for adding a thick sweater during those colder months. The buttons, & zipper are all perfect and I had no issues on any of them. I love the cute lining of the coat as it is very comfortable, not itchy, & is soft on your skin. The color was exactly like the product online & the lining color is so cute! For the price, I would definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed. What was another plus was when it rained, the water didn’t go through the fabric at all. It rolled off or just stayed ontop.     • Water Resistant, Except On Shoulders

Did the water resistance test by running parts of the jacket under the sink. Everything was great until I got to the shoulders. Immediately leaked inside the jacket. Otherwise would've been 5 stars for being super fashionable and not making me look like a child in a trenchcoat.

I got this for a trip to Europe and it was fantastic. Great weight, not too warm or heavy, goes with everything and has nice deep pockets. I wear a large and it fits true to size. With still enough room to layer a sweater underneath.
