I have owned over 10 pairs of Sanuk thongs, so clearly, I am a fan. These "Spree 4" flip flops are not like all the others, for they are very uncomfortable and fit oddly. Problems: My heels are forced off the back of the flip flop to the inside, and the thin straps are sharp and uncomfortable. The straps are very uncomfortable between my toes and on top of my foot. Ordered these shoes and they arrived on time. Unfortunately, the person who wore them before I received them was tacky enough to put their used, broken, smelly, nasty shoes back in the package and return it- which then ended up at my door. They even took the time to put the sticker back in the upper sole. Whoever you are, you might want to consider washing your feet once in a while or the pair you swiped will be just as nasty. Because I absolutely love every pair of Sanuk’s shoes I’ve owned, I took a chance and sent these back and received a clean, new pair. New pair arrived- new and clean- exactly how I expected the first pair to arrive. QA is absolutely slacking. Giving a 2 star because I love Sanuk’s and I understand you can’t buy class or honesty for your customers, but you can do better. ... show more

I am obsessed with these flip flops! I originally had the pair with the coral straps but my new puppy decided to munch on them so I ordered this black pair! My feet get sore walking around barefoot all day (I also have flat feet) and my heels will always hurt so I wear these around the house and my feet are instantly relieved! I can wear these all day with no pain. I also wear these by the lake and on our kayak. I have walked in water with them and they don't slip (the grip is awesome) and not only that but I can't believe how FAST they dry when wet! Faster than any flip flop I've ever owned. I wear these to walk the dogs through the park right after the sprinklers have come on and they literally dry in MINUTES, before I've even walked back in the door. They don't have that gross squishy feeling when wet either (like Old Navy flip flops do), they really maintain their form. They are extremely sturdy and durable on top of feeling like you're walking on clouds. Great for outdoorsy flip flop wearers, and the thinner straps means you can still dress up a bit with these if you want to! Possibly not true Sanuks. They are sewn wrong or something. One strap is tight. One is loose. They seem to be the right size though. I think maybe they are rejects that didn’t pass inspection? Next time I’ll go to the mall and get them at the store I usually go to. They just didn’t have my size when I went so I bought from Amazon. I’ll continue to wear this pair. My favorite flip flops are Sanuk because of the yoga mat comfort. ... show more

    • The part that goes between the toes is too thick
I love Sanuk flip flops. It's like the one thing I splurge on for myself when I do need to replace my old ones. I got these to try to save a little bit of money. I wish I had gotten what I normally do though. The material that goes in between the toes is too thick for what I'm used to with my other sanuk flip flops and it's kind of hurting my toes. I think I'll get used to them as they get worn more, but it's something to think about if you're used to a thinner toe part. I’ve purchased sandals from Sanuk in the past, but after several years of wear, when my first pair finally wore out I decided to try these as a replacement. These lived up to the quality and comfort of my old pair and then some! I’ve used them pretty much every day for the past 4 months and they still look brand new. I think my favorite thing about them (and where all Sanuk shoes stand out in my opinion) is that they’re incredibly comfortable from the day you get them. There’s no need to wear these in at all, from the first time you put them on, they feel like they’ve always been your favorite flip flops. I’ve purchased 3 of these in the last 4 years. They are my favorite flip flops around the house. I would pay alimony 40 bucks at Macy’s for them, and I am glad Amazon has them for a lot cheaper. I could always purchase some cheapy pair but I love the fit, comfort and look of this particular one. They usually only last me a year and a few months. The center thong part that goes between the toes tends to pull out as time goes on. I will continue to replace them as they get worn out. ... show more
