    • Runs small, not as cooling as I hoped
Ordered this in my usual size small-I’m 5’8 125 athletic build-and it was a bit tight in the shoulders/arms, and a touch short in the sleeves. I really can’t utilize the thumbs holes with the sleeves a bit short. It’s not as cooling as some other UPF outerwear that I’ve bought. Those have a silky, slipperier fabric which doesn’t seem to hold the heat like this one does. I may exchange for a medium to have a bit more room. Very happy with this light weight UPF jacket. Love the pockets and thumb holes, so even my hands can be covered if need be. Thinking about purchasing another in a different color. Definately recommend.

I live in the desert southwest at 5400 feet elevation, so the sun is strong here. I was excited to see this shirt, and XL was the recommended size for me given past order history. When wearing it as an open-front shirt, it's a bit big, but if you button it it's about right. The button + loops are pretty small, so would be a bit difficult to use if you are lacking in manual dexterity. But it is very comfortable, and seems to be doing a good job of keeping the sun off my skin (we'll see what the dermatologist says next month!). Also, I am short and have short arms so I do have to roll them up; the thumb holes are nice, but kind of obsolete for me because of this. ... show more

Living in the hot southwest, I am always looking for a lightweight cardigan to wear over my sleeveless tunics. Wearing plus sized clothing I was attracted to this Lightweight Cardigan by SANTINY for a couple of reasons: the cardigan is UPF50+ and Santiny offers plus sizing. I was relieved that this waterfall style cardigan actually fit as it does run a bit small. I won't want to use button up option nor will I use the pockets. I do like the UPF 50+ sun protection but would not wear it as a swim cover up. I think it is attractive enough to wear over a sleeveless tunic in cold air conditioning. The Santiny cardigan is a great travel piece, made of a combination of 75% POLYAMIDE and 25% ELASTAN, the fabric is soft, breathable, lightweight, dries quickly, and doesn't wrinkle. This is an easy care garment; simply machine was cold and briefly tumble dry low. I can give the Santiny cardigan an easy 5 star rating for versatility and attractiveness. ... show more

Fabric is thin, very cool with a nice skin feel. Flattering to boot. It’s not the deep black I typically like, and it has a slight shine to it, but as long as you don’t pair it with other blacks you’re good to go.
