    • Good value, great picture, inadequate audio...

This unit has an excellent picture. And, if you are getting it as a computer monitor, you will be quite satisfied. But, if you are getting it to be used as a television, you will not be happy with the audio and you will want a sound bar, bluetooth speaker, or amplifier and external speakers. I connected a Fugoo speaker using bluetooth and got satisfactory sound quality for use in my kitchen. But, without the Fugoo speaker, the audio is too quiet to be heard over the vent fan over the stove or typical cooking sounds. The poor audio forces you to add other components that detract from an otherwise compact, clean installation. One of the features that drew me to this unit was the USB Type C port that can be used to power other devices. I am using this monitor with a mini-PC that can be powered with USB Type C. And, I initially set up the monitor with the mini-PC using a short USB C to USB C cable to the mini-PC attached to the back of the monitor using velcro. This made a clean installation and worked, at first. But, despite the top power draw of only 12 watts from the monitor to power the mini-PC, it occasionally cannot handle the power draw and the PC shuts off - not good. To solve this problem, I had to ditch the USB-C power connection between the monitor and the PC and use the power supply for the mini-PC and the power supply for the monitor to power each device separately - which uses two outlets, instead of just one. So, to sum up, I was unable to achieve my goal of having a very simple, clean installation in my kitchen that uses only one power outlet and needed no other devices. I had to add the Fugoo speaker and I had to use both power supplies for the monitor and the mini-PC, as well as use a USB A to Micro USB cable to keep the Fugoo speaker powered up. Of course, my application influences my opinion. And, your application is likely to be different with different considerations. Considering only the monitor, it has a great picture, clear but inadequate sound, light weight, low power draw, it is easy to use, has good features, and it is a good value for its price. ... show more

I got this monitor because I needed to set up a new work station. My work involves a lot of comparing multiple documents at once, so I would need a large monitor or multiple small monitors. I decided to go with this 32" monitor for simplicity's sake. I don't need the high frame rate, curved display, etc so I can't speak to these factors since I am not gaming on this monitor, but it does everything I need it to as a basic work monitor just fine. The color accuracy seems good, has basic functions like auto shut off, and is decently bright enough when it gets sunny in my room. Two minor nitpicks. First, the way it mounts to the included stand is not very user friendly. Took me a few minutes because you basically have to line everything up blind since the attachment mechanism has a huge cover on it. Think of trying to reattach a smoke alarm on your ceiling trying to line up the little hooks, it's basically like that. The other even smaller nitpick is that I wish the power indicator light was either bright or in a better spot. It's close to the power button on the bottom of the monitor, but it is a very dim blue LED and slightly recessed so the only way to see it is if you put your hand like an inch under the monitor. I get they don't want the light to be intrusive, but they should make it slightly more visible since at this point it basically might as well not even be there. Also, I did originally get a monitor with a defect. Hopefully you can see in the pictures I attached, but the bottom quarter of my screen had some horizontal banding. You could see it in SDR mode, but was much more pronounced in HDR mode. Whenever you buy a monitor or TV, remember to always check for issues like this or dead pixels, there are plenty of screen tests on YouTube! Anyway, I still gave this monitor 5-stars since I know any product may have issues, it is impossible for QA to ensure every single item is perfect. However, I reached out to customer service and was able to quickly get a replacement monitor which does not have any issues at all. ... show more
