this skirt look absolutely incredible on. i am apple shaped and US 1-2x (14-16), approx 39 inch waist and at first i wasnt sure this skirt was going to fit. its a little tough to zip up at first, ive found that if you zip it down not all the way (just enough to wiggle into it) and then complete the zip once its on it works very easily. its mostly just hard to zip because theres no "hook" at the top to hold it together while you pull the zipper up. once this skirt is on though...oh my god is it flattering. hides your stomach fat and has a really beautiful shape. construction feels good and sturdy, material is a bit stiff but not in a bad way, it holds the pleats really well and just looks really good. its not too short, except a little bit when bending over, but there are shorts under it, and if youre used to wearing dresses and skirts you probably can maneuver just fine. if your size is around mine and youre looking for a cute pleated skirt, this is the one. i might get another color i love it so much. by the way, the fabric is solid and its not white underneath so it doesnt look cheap, tacky, or costumey. ... show more

This runs small. My daughter typically wears a 2 and the 3/4 fits her perfectly. Cute pattern, fabric is fine but arrived with split zipper which I had to replace. The shorts inside are pointless. No coverage. Rating would be higher if not for the split zipper.

The skirt itself is very nice!! It feels like a pretty good quality material and it fits quite a bit past what the size chart says (my waist is 52 inches and it fits, snugly but it fits). It's a bit short in the back, but I knew it would be for me so that's not a problem with the skirt. The way it was packaged is honestly awful. It was shipped in a flimsy, clear bag- I've never seen something shipped this way before and I don't like my packages to be able to be seen through by everyone. ... show more

This skirt was cut but I had to iron it 2 times and it still came back wrinkly. The material isn’t the best. Fit my daughter great and went with the aesthetics. My daughter really loved this skirt.

Purchased for my granddaughter to compliment a navy jacket she already had. A huge plus is that it has pockets! There are built in modesty shorts, as well. It is well constructed and the fabric is nice. It does run a little large. Be aware that it comes compressed in a package and you WILL have to iron before wearing. I got a size small and I have been losing weight for a little bit to get to size small and was shocked to see it fit me!!! Because people said size up and I didn’t listen. It fits so perfectly! And on top of that it has a stretchy band in the back in case you gain or lose a little weight. I bought this to wear to Disneyland mostly and the length is perfect for such a place.
