There aren't many options at this price from Samsung at this price point with such a display and performance. The Samsung Tab S8+ sets a high bar with its impressive AMOLED screen, lightning-fast processor, and robust DeX experience. Priced at $549 in 2024, it still stands out as a top contender in the tablet market. Unlike most FE tabs, its AMOLED display offers vibrant colors and deep contrasts, which I was sold on. One of the standout features of the Tab S8+ is its snapdragon CPU, ensuring smooth multitasking and seamless performance, whether you're browsing the web, streaming content, or running demanding applications. The combination of its processor and AMOLED screen creates a truly dynamic user experience. FEs are only equipped with Exynos, IMO they're subpar for their price. Another highlight is the DeX experience, most keyboards for under 100 so you can easily buy the original samsung covers but even with wider choices, for photos, or responding to emails, the Tab S8+ transforms into a versatile workstation, I wouldn't compare it with iPad Pro or Ultra but it's definitely strong in its own league. Solid Battery life, I use the machine sparingly but you will not feel battery drain issues in general. While the $549 price tag may seem little steep, the value it offers in terms of performance, display quality, and productivity features justifies the investment. Compared to other FE tabs with LCD screens, the Tab S8+ undoubtedly stands out with its superior display technology. For the money this one cannot be beat. The image is crisp and sharp, writing with the included styles is easy and smooth with no skips, touch control is great, response time is very good. I love my Galaxy Tab S8+ 12.4” 128GB WiFi 6E Android Tablet. It is perfect in every way (almost). The screen clarity is amazing. I teach guitar lessons and I also lead worship occasionally at my church. I use the Galaxy Tab S8+ 12.4” on a music stand that has a tablet holder to display my music for leading worship, and also for teaching lessons. The clarity and brightness of the screen make seeing a page of music WAY easier than playing from a printed music score or music book. Plus, the size of the tablet optimizes a large screen (12.4") in a relatively compact tablet. With the long battery life, I don't have to worry about my battery going dead in the middle of a session. That is so nice. Here is one thing that I don't love so much: I cannot get the Galaxy Tab S8+ to recognize my face, so I have to enter my passcode every time. That is annoying. I'm confident that it is probably "user error," but still.... My phone recognizes my face; why can't my tablet recognize my face? If you are looking for a large tablet screen, with enough screen brightness and clarity to be able to read and play music, then the Galaxy Tab S8+ 12.4” is for you. ... show more

I use a tablet everyday for work ( and play). If you are an android fan, there's not much to dislike about this tablet. This is my third Samsung tablet in the Tab S line. This replaced a Tab S4 that still works perfect. I like the bigger size, but is really tall for vertical viewing. I would have liked a more square design. It's wider than it is tall when held in landscape. It came with S pen included. S pen can control pretty much everything and works fast and smooth. It magnetically attaches and charges on the back of the tablet. Got a great deal on A Prime Day, so I jumped on it. Tab S9 is due to come out this year, but this Tab S8+ will have all the good stuff and 4 more years of Samsung updates/support at a much lower cost. Battery life could be better. That's the biggest con so far. Not a deal breaker.. Overall, Great deal, Great tablet. ... show more
