I received this today. The watch is in perfect condition. However, as others have mentioned, activation took me 4 hours. I drove the watch to the T-Mobile store. I asked for a standalone watch e-sim. No problems there. But when I tried to activate it, the watch only gave me European country options. I came back here and read the reviews and saw that with ATT you needed to download the app first. So I download the app. The watch eventually connects to my phone via the Samsung app and transfers everything. However, I didn't want this connected to MY phone because it's not a watch for me. It's for my 10 year old son to have so we can get ahold of him if we need to without giving him access to a phone.... The T-Mobile guy suggested that we connect it to an older phone which is at our house and factory reset. Get out old phone, factory reset the phone. Create email account for son to use to have an account with nothing to transfer. Then download the app from Google play. Then go through the connection process again. FINALLY got it to be a standalone watch with it's own phone number that can make and receive calls and texts...... should've just got him a flip phone 🤦🏻♀️ ... show more

Everything is working well including ECG, but the watch strap, charger, and box are not original. And I can definitely see some scratches here and there, especially on the button. I bought Excellent condition, but I cannot say the cosmetic condition is excellent. Plus, I cannot use LTE cellular in Canada. ... show more

Loved the watch but bought the refurb LTE and found out that xfinity while even being on Verizon will not work with this watch for the LTE. Then when i went to charge it up the charger provides a message "use original equipment" and i thought it was odd but i assumed it was that i put it on then took it off as i moved it. 2 hours later the battery was drained and was really HOT! so i let it cool down then charged it while powered off with no issues. I am returning it since i have no idea if it was charger or watch that has issues. I did like the watch and now ordering the one without the LTE ability for 80 bucks cheaper...still refurbed because it really did look like NEW! I was not real happy with the way the RING app worked with the watch, but thats the app i paid 2 bucks for. I still lhave to figure out how the text messages can be shown because i think it may be that my old watch was still powered on. the fact that i am buying the same watch again says i like it and compared to my gear S2 this is a huge step up! charge lasts at least 4 days but again i may have an issue that means a new one would last longer. the screen is amazing and very large compared to my gear s2 and i recommend the 40 MM size if a woman or a guy that wants a less obvious watch. 44 seems big to me and I am 220 with decent size wrists. i think this will be a popular device and would have given 5 stars but i just have not mastered it yet so can not say for sure. it does have a weird feature to turn on if you are getting in a pool so the screen is not going crazy. i assume it lessens the sensitivity for the screen so the warm water is not making the screen change. it worked well in my hot tub! ... show more

Reasonably easy to pair this with my phone and add widgets and apps, as well as shop for watch faces and download them. I have had one of these previously and bought this refurbished one to replace the one I damaged. Just wonderful for use in a pool counting laps and keeping a record of my heart rate, distance and time. A great product!! ... show more

    • phone/messaging/contacts need permissions granted to function at all
it'd be nice if i could send texts to unknown numbers/ people i have never texted before without having to give the watch access to my contacts and messages and this that and the other. like, yeah, i can put a pattern lock on it but that doesnt stop other people from looking at it and seeing things i might not want them to see. messages, texts, calls, notifications. it does not lock all the times that i think it should, i think it stays unlocked too long while its on me. messaging does not work unless all the required permissions are granted. would be nice if i could just type a new number in and send a message from the watch without it being able to pull all the rest of my messages up. it's been working fine so far. battery life leaves room for improvement in my opinion but i've got it constantly reading heart rate plus all the other little things i use it for so 24+ hours on my settings is probably still really good. definitely usable. haven't had a day where i couldnt charge it enough to last the whole day. still getting used to the features and functions. it's got spotify support, i wish it had better youtube music support cus that's what i use. i don't need it to download music to the watch, but if i'm playing music from YTmusic on my phone, i'd like the music player widget to reflect YTmusic, not the actual YT video app that was still open in the background. ... show more

    • Won't charge with the charger it came with.
It will not charge with the charger it came with, and it also dies super fast!! I have to charge it using wireless power charge on my Galaxy. And it still dies very quickly, 3 hours max.

I use this every day. It last one full day if im using it constantly all day or 2 days of mild usage. Bright screen I can see outside, I get compliments all the time on this thing. I haven't connected it to my phone plan yet so I can't say how well that works but it's a solid watch I send texts and make calls on it all the time with 0 issues. Well worth the money. ... show more
