They're cute! They are stylish. I love that the pink reads as a neutral in different outfits and I feel like I could stomp on someone (if I wanted to). Not too heavy. It is relatively true to size, I just know to wear blister pads the first few wears to break them in. They do squeak a strange amount on hardwood floors, but otherwise they're fine! I just think I'll avoid wearing them when it rains to rule out another factor that could make the squeaking a more persistent thing. My issue is the material. Beside other loafers I own, like my Maddens or my Madewell loafers, the shoe looks cheap. On their own, it's not as bad. I also hate that after 3 wears they're already looking a little dull and got some creases that are highlighted by the glare of the material. I really love these shoes. They have a great height. Are very comfortable, after a very uncomfortable break in period (I had huge blisters on the backs of your heels after a 2 1/2 hour excursion), but they’re so stylish. I’m always getting compliments about them. To really make the most of the shoes, order a full size up if your feet are wide like mine. I am usually a 7, and ordered an 8. And to break these in I would wear really thick socks and wear them around the house for a few weeks. Save yourself the trouble! ... show more

Sam Edleman makes beautiful shoes, and believe me, I've tried at least six different styles...from sandals to loafers and boots. Regretfully I've had to send them all back. If you have any funkiness going on with your feet, such as bunions or longer second toes, they're just not comfortable. No give anywhere and rough on your foot from the second you try them on. I was happy to see that they carry 10.5's but still no luck! I'm not knocking Sam Edleman, and I really hate that I can't wear them. I give up... ... show more

These are so cute and I get a lot of compliments. They are cushy on the bottom but they are poorly made. The seam on the top sides stick out and dig into your foot. I had to get pads to put over the seams. Size up 1/2 size is my recommendation.

    • Odd sound when walking

Comfortable but snug. These for me are tighter than the Lorain loafers. But what bothers me is that the shoes make a farting noise with every step. I have never experienced this with any foot wear. Can someone tell me if this will go away. The noise will cause me embarrassment.
