Everyone knows that Epsom Salts is good for the body but applied directly to plants / trees it really helps them as well .. It is a laxative which is quite profound so easy does it .. When soaking the feet it helps to draw toxins out of ones feet .. Magnesium is especially good for the heart and brain .. Also regular soaking the body in Epsom Salts helps to relieve inflammation which can cause poor blood circulation .. Here is the amazing thing about Magnesium Sulfate .. Using a big 50 lb bag on and around a tree stump will speed root rotting .. Have really difficult stump to remove or bamboo that you have cut down and need the stump to go away .. I may take a few years but its much cheaper than a machine which grinds down into the ground.. Bamboo is rather tough to get rid of .. Epsom salts will do the trick .. The beauty of Epsom salts is it won't harm the ground that it goes into .. Even a large quantity .. ... show more

Good if you use epsom salt in bulk like me. Grain is good. I thought the bag was resealable but it's not so tends to make a mess if you're not careful. Would still buy again. Would be better if the bag was resealable.

I have used several brands of epsom salt and this 50# bag it the best value for USP grade I have ever found. The bag is not re-sealable, though... so if you order this you might want to consider in advance how you intend to store it, especially if you live in a damp climate like we do.

this 50# bag is great price.... and it doesn't go bad... so I bought this much!!! What a wonderful addition to my bath... and I only use about 1/4 to 1/3 cup in about 4-5" water in my standard tub...NOTE: a health benefit... I tend to have leg/feet cramps from my bed (sometimes they awaken me in my sleep and when I arise in morn.) that also appear in my hands occasionally during the day .... for some reason this keeps that from happening... I figure maybe its the magnesium maybe.... which is vital for us. Also 1 Tab in 1 gallon of water applied to my plants every 3-4 weeks(or when I think of it... teehee) ..... helps them to be so healthy and blooms nicely. This stuff is mandatory in my house for these reasons.... it has gotten pretty expensive in last couple of years....I know cause I've been buying it for years now... and learned not to forget to use in my bath for sure. ... show more

I love this product and use it every night! I add 2 cups per warm bath and soak, it really eases my muscles and helps me relax after long days ( 12 hr shifts) at work or doing yard work at home. I really appreciate the new resealable airtight zipper. Because of the fact that it comes in a 50# bag, I usually put it into a smaller container to make it more manageable for me. I've also used this product and mixed a concoction to help with weed control in my rock walkway. In the garden, it adds necessary magnesium to my vegetables. The product was less than a dollar a pound several months ago, but as soon as I started to subscribe to getting it regularly, which gives you 5% off, the price escalated to now about 85.00. I'm not sure why that happened, as I never received an explanation, but since I consider this a necessity, I continue to pay the price. ... show more

The actual company is simply too expensive to ship from now with the 50 pound bag, so this will have to do. Amazon gets it there with free shipping, and at this weight that is something anybody will value. The product is exceptional.
