I have tried many Himalayan Pink salts, and SaltWorks is the best I have found. This is a very high quality coarse grain pink salt that adds terrific flavor to everything we use it on. We have never come across any stones, contamination or foreign matter like we have with all other brands we have tried. This salt adds terrific flavor, and can be used like any other salt. It adds minerals and trace elements to our foods for health benefits you will not get from ordinary table salt. It tastes great and it is the only salt we put on our table. The coarse grind is also great for our grinder. SaltWorks has been our brand for several years now, and it is the ONLY pink salt we buy, We always purchase the 5lb bag which we find is a terrific value. I got hooked on pink rock salt a while ago. I saw it on some cooking show and then on a show about how it was mined. I bought a bag and compared it to the plain table salt and a slightly better sea salt we had and I don't care what the detractors say, there's a taste difference. My usual go to which was a 2lb. bag shot up in price so I decided to give this a try. I completely cleaned the grinder before switching (I really wanted to be sure of the taste) and it's bang on. Besides adding a touch of color to the table, this pink salt has more flavor than other salts I've used. I actually over-salted a little the first time I used it. The flavor is outstanding, and because it is so concentrated, I can use less.
