This is a great item to wear with leggings. I wouldn't classify it as a dress. Or at least I wouldn't wear this without anything underneath it. This is more like a long shirt. I'm 5'8 and it fell way shorter on me than it did on the model in the pictures, who is listed as being 5'7. All that being said, I do like it. The buttons are for show, they don't actually button anything in place, so there's no worry of it blowing open or anything like that. The fabric does have a nice feel to it, but keep in mind it is synthetic, so care for it appropriately. It's not a warm shirt, which I like, because I live in the South, and our fall weather can be pretty warm still. So, this is an option for me to wear without becoming overheated. I got the caramel color, and it is very pretty. Accurate to the picture shown on the item description. I like that this has a pocket as well. My overall impression: don't be fooled, it's not a dress. Great for leggings, and for those warmer fall days. I'd recommend it, and am pondering getting it in other colors. ... show more

I really like the overall look of this dress. The fabric is soft in ribbed velour and it has good drape, warm but not too bulky and comfortable. The asymmetrical buttons is nice look and the color and length are great for fall. The fit at the bottom is relaxed, a little of an a-line. The part that makes this good instead of great is the cut in the hips is too curvy for the fit of the shirt. The fabric awkwardly protrudes. it's not super noticeable except it makes the skirt hang less well than it otherwise would. I can't say whether this is a problem in all the sizes and it may be great worn by someone super curvy if it fit more like a body con through the hips. But if you're getting it to fit as shown on the models in product photos, this cut on the hips of this style skirt is just awkward extra fabric. For that reason it will probably end up a cozy dress for wearing around the house. ... show more

    • Sooooo soft and cozy - long sleeves for tall gals - but thin

This is very nice. I really like the color and the material is so so so super soft. It is just like the most cozy thing like I’ve ever worn. I am also tall and the sleeves are plenty long for this tall girl. The buttons are not real buttons at all, and they do not open and the placard does not open either. The entire dress is sewn shut so there is no worry about pulling or pulling off a button or anything opening to expose anything. it is plenty stretchy and is easy to get on right over your head and fits pretty well. You could probably get away with wearing with a pair of leggings or high boots as well. The only thing I will say is that is on the thin side. So I guess you won’t overheat while wearing this, but with thin material it kind of hugs every little curve and bump of your body being so thin. So for me once I put on my shapeware underneath we were good to go. Again, I am surprised at how super super soft this is. Can easily wear to the office or out for a night on the town with the right accessories or anywhere really. ... show more

So sad about this one. First, love the color. The rusty orange is really flattering. I like that the fabric is very stretchy, although with a larger chest there's a bra color problem where it stretched a bit too much. It is a bit thin, but not horribly so. Probably good for fall weather...and you could wear it as a tunic with leggings. Problem is, as a curvy girl the line of buttons isn't very flattering over the hips. If you had a straighter shape it may lay a bit better. Disappointed. Will be returning. ... show more
