It's easy to put together (mainly held together by gravity), but the tolerances are so precise that there's no rattling or wiggle. The dishes rest on the top shelf and there's little chance of them falling off if you insert them right. The high rack works in front of (not under) my cabinets, which are only 18" above my counter. My cabinets are 12" deep and my counter is 25" deep. I can place plates in the upper rack that are 11 1/8 inches in diameter, and they clear my cabinets by 2.75 inches. The plates DO rise enough to obstruct the cabinet door from opening, but not so much that you can't reach in and sneak out a glass. The central drainage is nice because it keeps the legs of the upper rack out of the water. I like the matte black powder coat, rather than a rubber coat. We'll see how long it takes to rust. ... show more

Loved this dish rack because it has two layers because we have a bunch of roommates and a small rack fills up quickly. The spout underneath that collects the water and send it into the sink is also wonderful. It keeps the rack dry and clean so that nothing yucky can collect or grow. Bought this little dish drainer due to very limited counter space. It's compact and looks decent on the counter. However, the wires are really way too big/far apart. It has the little drain underneath so you cannot change the direction of the rack if needed. It suits the purpose but I would not purchase it again. I got this to replace a 2 year old dish rack that I cracked while cleaning. Assembly was very easy, and it fits on the side of my sink with room to spare. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to use the top rack because I never had one before. Boy, was I wrong! That top rack is very handy. I have a dishwasher, but I hand wash my pots, pans and large baking dishes. This rack fits a surprising amount of large items like that. The only con is that I saw hard water stains on the black mat within a few days. I sprayed some cleaner on it and then damp dried it, which took care of the water stains. Getting to the mat is much easier than it was with my old rack, but I wasn't expecting to see water stains so soon. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This dish rack was a really easy assemble and it got delivered fast! Seems to be very sturdy and Its well worth the buy. Drains well and the spout underneath you can turn it and it drains directly into the sink and its very easy to organize the dishes and fits next to the sink perfectly with the limited counterspace I have. I have a tiny kitchen. This saves so much counter space the drain under neath is perfect long enough to reach the sink but doesn't stick out. If your trying to save counter space I recommend this. It's also very sturdy. It's comes apart for an easy clean.
