This sweater was just as I expected it. Soft, just the right warmth. I wouldnt mind it being slightly longer as I am tall but it fits pretty well (I am 6'2). Just give me another 1-2" in length. Definitely pleased with this purchase.

I’m 5’10”, 175lbs, average build and ordering online is usually a pain because I never know if I need a Medium or a Large. In general Mediums tend to fit great off the shelf, but of course shrink in the wash so I tend to buy a size up, but then sometimes a Large is too baggy. What I like about this sweater is that because it’s mostly acrylic, it will not shrink like a cotton or wool jumper would, so I got a Medium and it fits great after the wash. Just make sure to wash cold and tumble dry low. And if you do shrink it a little, it’ll stretch back to size easily on a hanger with some steam. Feels soft like most acrylics, not scratchy like wool, so you can wear it as a base layer if you want without irritating your skin. It’s pretty lightweight / thin, so it won’t keep you warm in the cold. More of a fall or spring sweater. Stitching is surprisingly good, so if something is gonna rip on this jumper it won’t be the seams. The ribbed collar and cuffs are what I think make the design on this different from others. Overall it wears and looks a little nicer than the price point it’s asking, so good value for money. There are nicer sweaters for similar price that are thicker, sturdier, and warmer. But if you like the look of it and don’t want to worry about shrinking in the wash, pull the trigger. ... show more

I was looking for a basic classic sweater with a little bit of texture and an interesting collar. I had to search around for this one, and I’m very happy it looks and feels as good in real life as on the Amazon listing! The weight is on the lighter side, but the material feels quality, it does have a nice texture & color (ie doesn’t look like a sweatshirt or a tee shirt) and the chunky collar is nicely done. Size: a wee bit snug but hey I also have the extra pounds from staying at home too much. Size medium shown in the photo, I’m 5’9” ish in the torso,175-ish pounds and typically a medium is a bit loose and a small is a bit too tight. This was a good snug-ish medium. My hubby wears scrubs most of the time, and is annoyed if we spend $$ on him. We revamped some of the 10 year old pieces in his closet at a local store, and then I shopped more online. He sent back four items, but kept THIS is brown and a grey sweatshirt thing. For reference He is 6ft 185 lbs 32" waist--kept the size "M"--he still has good shoulders, but isn't as bulked up as pre-kids (he could be broader and still be ok in M--the fit would be baggy in the torso if he went larger. (This is a more "traditional fit" as opposed to let's say fitted "buckle brand" clothing where he's usually a large). He hates scratchy sweaters (this is soft). He needs a longer sleeve (inseam 34), but many shirts that have this are too long in the torso. This was great...looks hot with a pair of jeans. HIGHLY recommend for somewhat taller, lean "dad" guys--perfect for a pumpkin patch next fall or date night this winter or just hanging on the couch--he's much more likely to get lucky than if he stays in his scrubs--eew. ... show more
