You can't beat this size and quality of rug for the price. This one is very thick and soft with none of the "plastic-y" shine that some poly rugs have. It smelled like plastic for the first few days but that went away pretty fast. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 are the colors. The red verges on a garish tomato red and the blue is more of an aqua. No way this rug blends into any background. It stands OUT. It screams. It is in no way muted. However, I wanted it for my small studio where it will get painted over and otherwise abused. So I am happy. If it were in my living room? I am not sure... Updated - now that I have had this rug for a few years, I confess, I love it. I thought it was too bright at first but now... it so works in the room. I am tempted to buy another, smaller one for another room. I just had to get used to it. ... show more

Bought this rug for my sons room and he loves it. It looks way more expensive than it was and adds so much to the room. I added a rug pad from amazon as well. So far we have not had an issue vacuuming it. The smell from packaging has gone away quickly and the Roomba is able to run over it even with the rug pad. Now I just need to buy one for our bedroom!
