I know I write something like this about every handbag review I’ve ever posted. Fickle me. But I believe this one really, truly is the best pocketbook I’ve ever owned. We’ve twirled through lust stage and it’s now official love. I hope my review isn’t TL, DR. I’m a handbag-aholic. Even though I currently own a couple of handbags that will last me until the end of my days—2 large S-Zone totes in shiny black leather, both the horizontal & vertical versions—I couldn’t pass *this* particular bag up. (This after insisting to myself for DAYS that I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER HANDBAG. Oy.) I chose dark blue, and it is beautiful. This is a simple, elegant bag in design. (It’s been over a month and I can still smell the leather!) It’s strong & sturdy. Obvious care went into its making. Quality detailing. The zippers run smoothly. Love the double rivets attaching the shoulder straps to the bag. Shoulder straps & crossbody strap are reinforced with a canvas-like webbing. The crossbody strap is comfortable, sturdy, & secure. The hardware is a handsome, solid brass. This purse is stable and will stand up on its own after you put your contents in. It has just the right number of pockets: enough to be functional & practical, but not so many as to make you wonder where you stored your keys or your lipstick. The interior is roomy; there is a padded slot for a laptop, 2 wall slip pockets, 1 zipper pocket, and a zipped divider. There is also an outside zip pocket, in which the woven tape luggage handle is tucked. I use this outside pocket, which I carry against my body, for my phone, lipstick, hand cream, hand sanitizer, keys, and other small, need-to-access-quickly items. In addition to the forementioned, this bag fits my small wallet, my A5 journal, pen case, sunglasses, my extra pair of eyeglasses, a small amount of makeup, handkerchiefs, my neck fan, Biofreeze, extra face masks, file folders, and a small purse flashlight (it’s dark in there. I'd love to see a light-colored interior sometime). My other 2 S-Zone totes were lined with satin; this blue bag has a sturdy, brown, built-to-last canvas-ish lining. I’m a bit more fond of the satin linings of my other S-Zone bags, but I can tell this lining is strong & stable. If you need to carry your life with you, this is your bag. Even if you *don’t* need to carry your life with you, I’d still recommend this handbag. It's that beautiful. I’ve filled the bag, but not overfilled it, and it weighs in at 7-8 lbs. (Mind that the bag itself is ~2 #, seeing that it’s all leather.) And I can’t overemphasize that the distressed dark blue is downright gorgeous and, based on that, I’m sure the other colors are beautiful as well. If you’re on the fence, do yourself a favor and buy this bag! You won’t regret it! ... show more

This bag checks all the boxes for me. Beautifully crafted of high-quality leather that will get even more attractive and pliable with use. Perfect size—big enough to hold all the daily essentials with enough room to fit extra for travelling. Great design—the interior is sectioned with pockets that make organizing easy, and has an outside pocket for those quick grab items. The zippers on the top and outside pocket can be left open for easy access, or closed for extra security. The handle options are wonderful—attached straps are perfect size for over-the-shoulder use, and the detachable long strap for cross-body gives a great option for hands-free carrying. The media could not be loaded. I love using this bag for travel with our kiddos. I have a three year old and a three month old and this is plenty of room for all of our essentials. I ordered this in the Light Brown which is lovely with the light wear and variation that it shows. My video one photos are after I conditioned it, which I have only done once in the year I’ve owned it just to protect it from the dry environment. There are four large compartments in this bag (device sleeve and two large compartments divided by a zippered smaller compartment) all contained by a top zipper that allows for a great deal of contents before it is unable to close. I typically carry my wallet, multiple device chargers, three toddler diapers, five baby diapers, wipes, booty cream, a 10” Fire tablet, my 40 oz water tumbler, and a myriad of other things in this bag. The straps are 3/4” thick so they are comfortable even when it’s quite full. If I carry this bag while pushing a stroller the heavy duty side clips are great with stroller bag clips. I bought this in 2020 to travel back and forth to the office during COVID. We’re now on a hybrid schedule so I still use it every week day. I always carry my laptop, a few file folders, spiral notebook, purse, travel mug, lunch bag, charger cords, pens and other items I randomly throw in there. It stands up on its own, has pockets, zippers and even some padding for the laptop section. It keeps my hands free getting in and out of the car and the office elevator and door keypads. It looks just as great as the day I got it. I’ve spilled coffee on it several times and just wipe it off and out. The inside is still great, no tears at all and I shove a lot in there. I absolutely love it! It may be a little on the heavier side but I am constantly running into things, bumping walls, dropping it on the floor and it’s so durable and still looks great! This is a beautiful bag. It’s roomy without being cumbersome. I use it as a purse, and also a music bag. I carry hymnals and large music books. It also comfortably fits my two water bottles. I really like the handle as well, because it’s leather with canvas stitched to it for reinforcement. It’s comfortable on my shoulder even with all my stuff in it. It’s beautifully stitched and it’s a very rich color. The compartments are organized and there’s a laptop space. The middle zipper compartment is a little flimsy, but with care it should hold up. This is a very large bag made of beautiful leather, study leather and canvas straps, reinforced bottom and lots of storage organization. It is heavy, but expected for its functionality. The extra shoulder strap is very useful. The only downfall is having the shoulder strap and handles both attached at same time is awkward, but I still love it. Well worth the price! ... show more
