  • Works great and very handy.
This little sander is easy to use and very effective. It looks like the sandpaper is not even moving, but it is actually very aggressive and does a great job. It is light weight and comfortable to hold. I did have to drill a small hole and install a screw to hold the dust collection bag in place since it was constantly falling off. ... show more

  • Excellent small orbital sander
This is just what I needed for the small amount of time per year I actually need an orbital sander. You WILL need the high capacity Ryobi 18v batteries for this! Things like circular saws and orbital sanders will drain the small ones (of the sort that come with drills) very very fast. The high capacity ones have a tolerable usage time, but you're really going to need at least 2 for any sort of construction job. One might be good enough for just sanding wood for furniture sized objects. Theres no speed adjustment, but if you don't really need higher speed or adjustable speed this is fine. The dust bag actually does work and does collect a lot of dust. Of course it will work better with a shop vac attached, but even without one the bag is still useful. ... show more

  • Works great had to replace similar one that died after 2 years
Great little work or sander. But I did have to replace the same unit that I bought two years ago that died

  • Great for the low cost!
I have been getting into wood working recently as a beginner, and this product really does help! It is affordable for the amateur I am, and it gets the job done. It is very easy to remove and put the sand paper on. It is also very convenient as it's cordless! I will add though, the battery life on Ryobi batteries aren't the greatest, but will definitely last! 9/10 item! ... show more

  • Adequate and convenient
Does the job, but not quite as effective as my corded Ryobi sanders. Maybe not as rapid rotation? Dust bag held on by friction alone, frequently falls off while operating.

  • Great sander
I've needed a good sander for a while, so I took the plunge. Seller send a really nice note with it. K-Tech Enterprises LLC is a small family-owned business, so having the convenience of Amazon while supporting a small business is a win-win. Wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

  • Easy sanding
I've been refinishing antique furniture from relatives' estates, and burned up my old sander. This one is perfect and so much more efficient and easier to use.

  • Doesn’t feel ergonomic and seems to jump around on wood.
I purchased this because I already have other batteries and tools from Ryobi but wanted a cordless sander. I have no issues with battery life as others have commented on. However, this sander doesn’t feel ergonomic or balanced to me compared with my old corded Craftsmam sander. It also seems to jump around on the material instead of staying flat with me having to push down on the sander to maintain control. This could possibly simply be my own issues as nobody else has commented on this. It could also be that this sander is not as powerful as my old one. It’s the first Ryobi product I’m not totally satisfied with. ... show more
