Wanted a water shoe for fishing that covered my whole foot to protect from sun and be able to jump into lake without worrying about having to remove my shoes. Previous had shoe that worked well but had no support and by the end of the day, my feet really hurt. We're usually fishing for about 10 hours, most of which is standing on the deck of the boat. As for fit, I ordered 7.5, but it was too short so returned and ordered 8. Fit is a little loose, but I'm able to tighten it enough with the laces so it's not an issue. We've only been out fishing once since I got these shoes, and it's been a blessing - my feet felt great at the end of the day. I have all kinds of foot problems; standing on a hard pool surface is not pleasant. These shoes are very helpful since my feet don't have to stand on a hard pool surface for my water aerobics exercises. They feel very good on my feet. These shoes are amazing! I was looking for water shoes for when I go to Universal and want to ride the water rides without having to change out of my clothes/shoes. Only probably is i’m eXTREMELY flat footed and have plantar fasciitis, so it’s incredibly hard to find even normal shoes that I can wear for long periods of time without my ankles feeling like they’re broken. These are amazing though. I’ve worn them at universal for 10+ hours at a time and went home w/ no pain and was ready to go back and do it again the next day. They’re also great quality because I don’t change out of them while at the amusement parks so I walk/run around in them and get them soaked and they’re still fine and comfortable. I don’t write a whole lot of reviews but I was super hesitant in buying these because of how bad my foot pain is but I’m so grateful I did. ... show more

The shoes are beautiful, well made, with one exception....the right shoe had a glue-ing mishap and my first wearing resulted in black sticky glue on my toes. I'm sure this is an exception, so I deducted one star from it. The dealer was gracious about the return.

These water shoes came highly recommended by my water aerobics instructor and a few of the other ladies in my class. My arches had fallen so badly that my feet hurt terribly during exercise. I can't even walk or stand in my bare feet any more. These shoes helped tremendously though! I can now do running exercises in the shallow end of the pool without pain! What a relief! I gave them 4 stars only because they pull my feet up to the surface of the water. This is probably more of my adjustment period than anything else. One recommendation: buy a smaller size than normal. I usually wear a 9 1/2 to a10 so bought the 9 1/2. But since I don't wear socks with these water shoes, they were loose. I returned them for a 9 and they are just fine now. ... show more
