On a whim, I bought on of those bullet antennas. Those are complete garbage. Literally. Cause thats where it ended up. But this antenna is unmeasurably better. Even better then the stock OEM one. I live out in the sticks. With hills that cut my reception to nothing at times. Whats worse, I run LED headlights that cause a significate amount of static. I was blown away on my way home from work tonight after installing it this morning. Great reception. Turned my headlights on. Same great reception. On my drive home, never lost reception. Even when I got behind the hills where I normally lose reception and never get it even with the OEM stock one when my headlights are on... Good reception. I read the details about this antenna and was hoping it was actually built for reception. And it is! Looks pretty and the build quality is as good as the reception! I cant say enough about this antenna. If you are a radio listener like me and even if you are not in the market for a new antenna, buy this one. Its just better. ... show more

Easy installation and looks great. I noticed a loss of some stations on the radio when driving on the outer banks in North Carolina. Reason for 4 stars as the original antenna had no problems with reception of stations on the Outer Banks in N.C.

Like so many others I was tired of my antenna scraping along my garage door when pulling in or backing out. I know it’s supposed to act like a curb feeler, but the sound is just so annoying. I looked at many replacement antenna before deciding upon this one. I still like to listen to the radio in my truck, so I wanted one that was long enough to get decent reception, but short enough not to scrape along the garage door. I believe this one fits the bill. I really haven’t noticed any difference between this antenna and the factory one. I haven’t been out of town since I installed it, so I can’t comment on its range. I like the look and I haven’t noticed any wind noise coming from it. I haven’t been through a car wash or owned it long enough to comment on its durability, but I like it and would recommend it to someone looking for a replacement antenna for their F-150. ... show more
