We are really loving these curtains! They are only made from cloth, rather than containing a layer of rubber or plastic like another set we owned. That rubber eventually degraded and they were a mess to take down. These are very effective at blocking light. We have them hanging in our bedroom (of course) and one set of windows receives full morning light for about three hours. With these curtains up the room is just barely in a quiet twilight during those hours, allowing some really nice deep sleep for my sleep-challenged spouse. I have ordered this product before so I knew exactly what I wanted when I redecorated. These curtains are very nice looking, hang well and provide insulation from light and some cold. I have ordered them previously in another color. Unfortunately I had to return these because I ordered multiples for my window and there was a shipping delay on part of the order. I ordered all panels at the same time but they shipped from different warehouses. If there had not been a supply issue and if I had more time to get my redecorating project completed I would have definitely kept them. ... show more

Bought these to fit inside my window which is exactly 35.2 inches. They came about 1/3 in shy of that length when fit inside my window. I hope the length difference isn't too much that the cold still gets in.

While these aren't 100% blackout, they are pretty close! Definitely enough to help us sleep in through our bright sunrises, which is a must for our late schedule. My camera is really light sensitive so it picks up more light than there really is to the naked eye, just fyi. It's quite dark in person

Color was as expected, weight of the curtain seems just right. I like the feel of these curtains, nice and soft. It was fairly easy to get the shipping creases out by throwing them in a low dryer with a wet towel and dryer balls. Initially, I hesitated on ordering because they do not offer valances. So I took a chance and ordered one pair of 84" length, and then 2 pair of the shortest version of the curtain (24") in the same color. I was able to hem them up to the length I desired for a valance. Also, I was accustomed to having the rod pocket be an actual pocket that allows the curtain to be shirred above the rod. So, I sewed across the top of the curtain I was using for the valance to form a smaller pocket. This large rod pocket seems to be standard in almost every curtain I looked at anymore, guess I haven't bought curtains for a while!! I'm going to be making a pair of tiebacks with the excess fabric I cut off the bottom of the shorter curtains. A little extra work, but I'm happy with the results I got! ... show more

Curtains? Yes. Blackout? Definitely not. I was worried when I took them out of the package and found them to be extremely lightweight compared to the last set of blackout curtains I bought elsewhere. The material felt nice, aside from the bits of plastic (?) I could see poking out between the fabric, so I decided to give it a try despite my misgivings. Morning came and the curtains proved to be no better than normal curtains, except I worry that the material between night break down with washes. Most likely will return it and use the money for something better. Save your money and do the same. ... show more
