It cut great once very sharp but now the scissors dont close properly it goes too far and it seems like its missing the bumper to prevent that? not sure if its defective but hard to use now

I used these yesterday for the first time and had a hard time cutting my husbands thin hair. I think it’s how I hold them so I’m going to try again holding them as pictured and see if that works. I was so not impressed and disappointed for the cost. I thought I’d be getting good ones for that price but I’m not sure. I couldn’t cut his hair, but I sure cut my finger so I know the tip at least is sharp. UPDATE: after looking at some videos I realized I was holding these scissors wrong. I’m so use to using right handed scissors, I didn’t realize lefties would work differently. So bottom line, they are sharp and after an adjustment period, they do work well. ... show more
