He is 5'9, about 135lbs. They weren't too loose looking or too tight. Seemed to be the perfect relaxed fit for him. My youngest son hated them. Lol. They were very loose looking on him, which is odd since he's thicker than his brother. Lol. They were not really his style. He's 5'7, about 130. I'd say it would depend on the men purchasing. I bought these as work jeans for my husband. He really likes them and they seem to be wearing well so far. They do definitely seem to be a relaxed fit as they are quite baggy on him in the legs and seat, but fit well in the waist. Nice leg length as well.
